Bogdanovic allegedly plans to sign an offer sheet with the Hawks.

It’s just MLE for 3 years.
were you expecting him to get less then the MLE?

Dammit, he didn't fit there the first time. Wish the Mavs had gotten in on this - the MLE with no state tax is even with that deal. And you don't have to live in the bad city.
One day we will agree on a big man, but that day is not today. haha

I saw him in the 7-8 mio range. Double digits are surprinsing to me. Do you see him as valuable as Josh Richardson as a non-shooting center?
Maybe Wood is available for the MLE no state tax?

Charlotte needs a center, so I could see them with a bigger offer

For discussion's sake, please name five big men you like, regardless of contract situation, as they are as players in 2020.
I wish there was a way to rent an NBA front office executive for like 30 minutes and have him break down the disparity of how NBA Front Offices think vs. how fans think about players like Favors.
Let’s say Detroit wanted to go big.
Wouldn’t signing Ibaka and then re-signing Wood be a much better option?
Both much more versatile players then the 5 bigs they have acquired.

CHA did draft 2 centers, so maybe they're fine not paying Woods.
Think it's getting pretty transparent that there isn't going to be any Mavs news this evening. I would wager all of the irons they have in the fire involve trades and sign-and-trades. That means waiting on other teams to get the rest of their crap done - as well as for the three cap room teams to run out of space.

Curious. What would you expect to be the answer? I don´t think there would be much of a disparity to be honest.

One thing I've gathered from reading a lot of articles about Wood is that there has always been a skepticism around Pistons and their fans that they could keep him because he really wants to play for a winning team.

I don't dislike Favors and was pleasantly surprised by his rebounding this past season. That contract is too rich for my blood.

Depends on the role you want him to play.
a starting big for MLE is a great get.
A backup big for MLE is ok, less if they can get played off the floor in the playoffs.
But with the quality of free agents this offseason I always thought he would get at least MLE money.

That fans think he's a starting 4 for a contending team and NBA front offices dont. Though I guess Utah has just proven me wrong on that, but they have a long background with Favors and they have one of the worst 4 situations of any contending team.
