Indeed.

Though everything that makes the East worse for Giannis and the West more attractive is greatly appreciated, because we are competing with EC teams exclusively as far as we know. So shift all the talent in the world to the East. Get Westbrook to Orlando and they can take 2-3 games from the Bucks in Round 1, too. Every little bit to make Giannis doubt his future there helps. Cool

Are we thinking a Mavs gif, or a Rockets gif?
Best burn or humiliation etc...

Which is one more you will ever had. You can't be like that...

Gallo, for example, who could be had in that range, is way better than Saric.

Well maybe Gallinari doesn´t want to play for Phoenix.

Maybe Phoenix are not impressed with Gallo´s career play-off averages of 15/5/2 with shooting percentages of 37.5% from the field and 30% from 3pt range.

As opposed to Saric, who in his only play-off appearance for Philly averaged 17/7/3.5, while shooting 42.1% from the field and 38.5%
from 3pt range.

Saric has actually contributed to winning a play-off series with his play-off performance, while Gallinari´s generally poor play has contributed to his teams losing in the first round all four times.

Maybe Saric steps it up in the play-offs, while Gallinari disappears.

Alright, dude, I retract all my posts about this. Saric is the god of the four-spot and Sarver is a genius. Go Suns!! Happy?

Just stating my case.

While I´m generally very pro-Gallinari, there is no denying he has disappeared in the play-offs many times now, which is obviously a problem. You want guys to step up, when it matters. Who cares about those 4-5 extra regular season games he wins you, when he shoots 37.5% from the field in 20 play-off games. That´s awful for a SF/PF.

If you factor that in, I don´t see the massive upgrade between them. Furthermore Gallinari is an injury-prone 32 years old, while Saric´s age lines up much better with Booker, Ayton and Bridges. Is CP3 really a "win-championship now" move, or a "get into the play-offs and teach them how to be winners in the future"- move?

Yeah, I'm rooting for this to happen. We will play HOU a bunch on this shortened season. I've heard talks of even 8 games against division rivals, is this true? If so, PHO shouldn't be moving hell and earth to play Lakers, Clippers and Warriors a lot.

Quote:A source said that [Danny] Green, who is being dealt to Oklahoma City along with Wednesday’s No. 28 pick in the Schroder deal, remains “definitely a name that is interesting” to Dallas.

Quote:A source said the Mavericks remain interested in, but currently are not the favorite to land Danilo Gallinari.... a source says Gallinari is leaning toward two-year deals that are being offered by at least two Eastern Conference teams. Might he and his agent change their mind for one year with Luka Doncic and Porzingis and the Mavs and perhaps an extension next summer? Not likely, but not impossible.
Tilman = Perot Jr...

Repeatedly not panning in during the offseason will put us in the same boat sooner rather than later.
Please say no to Green...
Best case: Wright + future 2nd for Green.
Barely acceptable: Wright + 31st for Green.
Trash: Everything else.

Yes it seemed pretty obvious that Gallinari is looking for a deal above the MLE and multiple years. Makes sense for him.  He´s 32 years old and injury-prone.

Incentive to move his, then 33 year old butt, into the 2021 FA shark pool to seek a big long-term deal....nah.  Actually a pretty smart "big fish-small pond"-strategy, that could work in 2022 again, when half the league has signed new deals in 2021.

Yeah, I never get this logic he has. If your neighbour is an even bigger loser it doesn't change the fact that you are a loser.
No List:

Green
Dipo
Harris
Rubio
Gallo
Adams
Dinwiddie
Westbrook
Harden
Kuzma
KCP
Griffin
Dragic
Fournier

Yeah doesn´t sound like the tampering is going well. Big Grin

Then you could also argue they are preparing the Mavs fans for the long-term project, because that Donnie quote about "we draft BPA and that might be somebody with an out of position body" would fit Pokusevski the most. I´m not sure, he´d give the impatient pitchfork crew much instant gratification.

Could be that.

I just want Houston to do these EC trades with Harden and Westbrook, because it is a significant powershift to the East. I could care less about them being miserable. I just want the short-term conference balance shift for Giannis.

Rubio should be moved to the "yes" list, immediately, and Gallo should at least be removed from the "no" list.

Which Harris? I'm way the hell out on Tobias and meh-yes on Joe. I would have no problem whatsoever with Rubio or Gallo, and would take Dipo as a last resort as long as it didn't cost 18.

Pokusevski sounds too much like Podkolzin to me.
I think I'm to the point where I'd put Oubre on my "no" list. Wouldn't want him taking minutes from DFS or even THJ.

If they are a maybe, they are a no.  Rubio is not even a maybe.  Expanded my no list.
