Dallas is definitely giving up pick(s), since they're getting off of the Wright money, but they might be BS 2nd rounders.
I am in literal disbelief that people aren't happy right now.
Like, shocked.
No confirmation yet, but I'm guessing the pick is from Detroit.
I feel that after all these First Round Picks that Presti is getting, Adam Silver is going to make a rule about collecting too much picks.
In a bout 5 years, its possible he may build a team better than Kevin Durant, Rusell Westbrook, and James Harde (3 MVP players).
It's not Wood, but it's Johnson. Could be a nice, fat expiring contract at the deadline.

I assume Dallas, too, though if they didn't have to give up a pick I'll high five my Luka fathead AGAIN!

I'm pretty sure most people are stoked. There's always one or two contrarians.

I dont think people are unhappy.
It's just delayed gratification. Now they have a bunch of large expirings for a potential later trade. Or they have a max cap space next summer. But now we dont really expect them to do much else this offseason if they're so hell bent on max cap space next summer.
Oh man, I love it even more now

That was years ago. He's pretty washed as a player. He's here to be an enforcer and expiring contract.
He'll help the big rotation limp along until KP is back. Unlike MKG, he has some offensive ability. We are still going to get smashed on the boards though.

So it is the same story we hear every single year. Next year we will make the big signing/add talent. This year we are trying to clear capspace. Maybe I am the only one that has plan powder PTSD but after watching them fail again and again for more than 10 years I really don´t get why people are still supporting this approach.
Johnson + 6.7 mil matches OPJ's salary in a trade. Just saying.
A little about James Johnson
he is a black belt
He is undefeated in his MMA career
His mother, father, and siblings are all black belts
He is a Bad MF
