I don't really see Baynes as being in their price range...but it is strange that we haven't heard much about him, especially since Boston had their MLE available and needed a center so badly. He's played there before, right?

Baynes is a REALLY good screener. He could help.
Imagine how much our average height would go up with JJ and Jalen.

Exhibit 9 would be okay but Exhibit 10, well that's just crazy.

THJ + Brunson for Bogi makes the math work.
Curious to see what Bogdan goes for...

I'd hate to lose Finney smith.... But Powell + Finney smith would make your loss in cap space next year for signing Bogdan minimal. But your asset pool higher.

Of course that's probably not enough to get a deal done... But what else does it take to dump Powell onto someone?

I wish we'd just see Bog going to ATL confirmed for a stupid amount.
On the Bogdanovic or Saric/Ibaka front. If it was that easy, it would have happened already.

By that I mean Saric/Ibaka agreeing to terms with their current teams or Bogdan just signing for the remaining capspace in Atlanta for roughly 80/4. So clearly Bogdan is still looking at other options, whether that´s Dallas, Milwaukee or somebody else, while Atlanta gets strung along like the Mavs did last year with Green.
we still need someone versatile enough to help Maxi guard the Jokic's and the Anthony Davis's, specially with KP missing significant amount of time

Boston always seems to land on its feet.
DLord has been tweeting Mavs nonstop since draft night.

I wonder why he just won't come here. He's obviously reading.

Did he and Fish break up?

It's not Milwaukee and I don't think it's Dallas but it could be a contender type situation with a SNT.
Very well could be a ploy for more money.

Frankly they are one of only a few teams to actually have the money to outright sign him going into FA so I think ATL has actually got the deals done because there aren't better options. And they are putting up big overpays.

That's interesting and simple enough.
This "roster math" thing tells me that either Terry or Green got traded away in the Johnson deal. I wouldn't want that leaked either if I were the Mavs.

That would suck so bad to have to give away your first or the biggest steal of the draft just to dump Wright...
