The word on the street, I always have to be careful of this because I get in trouble, the word on the street is he thinks he can get an offer, or there's belief that there's offers out there that average $18 million per year," said Brian Windhorst. "Somewhere in the four-year, $72 million range. That, I think a lot of people think would come from Atlanta. I think the most Milwaukee can do is something closer to the $15 million to $16 million per year range. Over four years, that's $8 million or $9 million, depending on where all the decimal points go. That's not an insignificant amount of money.
There's got to be some Mavs movement trying to get a S&T with Gallo or Bog using Charlotte as the "dump" team for Wright. OKC or Kings will get some kind of small asset back like Brunson and Mavs get their guy. I would much rather have Bog than Gallo even though I like Gallo.

The other thing with Charlotte is they might have interest in Jax who is a UNC guy.

Maybe yall are right about his potential.  I just cant imagine a world where we're paying 4/60 to another big.

Yes, several, actually, but you could make the case that this means it's less likely to happen. There have been no real ones, just the standard hoops hype crap.
ok ok I just watched the highlight of Wood pump faking and driving baseline to posterize Rui Hachimura.

I'm sold.

Sign Christian Wood!!

He still has the upside to be a viable starter just not here

All the goofus had to do was shoot when he was wide open

OMG THIS
Fish seems to have been pushing Wood to the Mavs in the last 24 hours. Kevin O'Connor was also bringing up Wood to the Mavs on Bill Simmons latest podcast.

Yes, he can run the floor, shoot from the outside (like REALLY shoot, if the small sample is correct) and he has a NICE face-up iso game.

And, he hasn't even been used yet in the pick and roll game like Dallas would. He could be a MONSTER here.

I think @"omahen" might be onto something with this George Hill business. He's VERY available, is a winning player and would provide the team with a level of ball-handling insurance they probably want badly. I don't think it would excite many people HERE, but I do think Donnie/Carlisle would be excited about it. A veteran guard who can play PG, stretch the floor and plays defense?

I think a move like that and a similar sized move for some type of big might be what we're about to see. I hope people won't be disappointed, because I think this team has knocked the off-season out of the park, personally. The only way they could f it up for me, at this point, is a STUPID move. There is no scenario in which NOT doing something we're discussing here could be disappointing to me.

Are you saying Richardson hides THJ's lack of playmaking or the other way around? Richardson isn't a playmaker.

I think josh is now our starting lineup secondary playmaker

Definitely good value. Definitely makes Dallas immediately more win-now.

Not the sexy splash some are hoping for, but would be really, really good.
