Feels like the Mavs will trade with OKC for something tonight. Gallo, Rubio, Oubre all choices. 18 is too high imo for Gallo. I suppose if we are dumping Wright in the process that is part of the motivation.

He gave up like a lightly protected 1st, a 2nd, some player I haven't heard of (is he any good?) and get a useful player back as well in Danny Green. Honestly even I would have thought it would take more to move off of that contract. That's why you shouldn't be afraid to go big.

Gallo could still happen. If it weren't for trade restrictions on 18, it probably would have happened.

Gallo has bigger restriction, as he is a FA. Can't be traded before start of free agency.
After the Kings-Bucks debacle - which some are saying is a case of the Bucks trying to get out of big tampering trouble - perhaps the Mavs should slowly back away from any trade with the Thunder which involves 18 and Gallo coming to Dallas.
