Ben Simmons
Josh Richardson
at least 2-3 first round picks

I dunno what Brooklyn can do unless Hou really loves Lavert and Jaret Allen.

Those 2 plus a bunch of crappy 1sts.

Philly at least has Simmons and crappy 1sts.

If it's a straight up bidding war and other teams are willing to go in on it... Denver still has the most ammo of anyone.
Nah Simmons is easily the best available player for Houston, if he is indeed available for a Harden trade.

Funny enough, Allen+Levert+Prince seems a pretty good trade for Westbrook, so Houston could end up with

Simmons
LeVert
Richardson/Prince
Covington/Tucker
Allen

+ 3-4 1st round picks.

Probably a fantastic defensive team, but a mess on offense.

The Suns could have declined options on Cheick Diallo and Frank Kaminsky, renounced their rights to Dario Saric and Aron Baynes, and waived Elie Okobo, and had $16.2 million in cap room to pursue a power forward such as Paul’s recent Thunder teammate, Danilo Gallinari. Once the Suns had a free agent, they could have completed the Paul trade, use their room exception for depth, and re-signed guard Jevon Carter (who has a tiny $1.8 million cap hold).
Instead, the Suns forfeited their cap room possibilities and will be limited to their full mid-level exception in free agency. Phoenix can re-sign Baynes and Saric with Bird Rights, but neither of those guys are moving the needle; the Suns could find bench help that isn’t of much different quality with lower dollar exception money.
One move to watch that would further send the Suns all-in but could change my perspective on the cap decision: Using the 10th pick in the draft plus Kaminsky, Diallo and Okobo to acquire another high-level starter."

So does that make Jevon Carter a possibility?

I see the Suns' FO attended the Cuban/Donnie Cap Management Seminar of 2019. In this case, it's that Sarver is cheap, cheap, cheap. "I'm already spending all this damn money on that State Farm guy. Why would I want to spend more? Get lost."

Are we thinking a Mavs gif, or a Rockets gif?
Dunn is a worse version of Delon. He's a better defender but Delon may be 10x the offensive player he is. I may not be exaggerating that # either ha.

I agree. I know Harden is way better right now, but I think Simmons could be special if given the chance to run his own team soon. I would at least be excited about seeing that, and nothing the Nets could offer would be as intriguing, imo.

I think we're about to see how "player-driven" the league really is. If the Nets "allow" Harden to be shipped to Philly, do KD and Kyrie demand trades?

Saric + Baynes + MLE + (Okobo 2nd round trade value) is easily better than $16M in capspace. It´s rich to say these players don´t move the needle, but then act like $16M in FA allow you to adequately replace them AND get better on top.

And who decided that Saric is not one?  He started 67% of his NBA career games. I´d rather have Dario Saric and the MLE than Caldwell-Pope for $16M.

The author acts like you get some superstar level player in that gap betwen their additional capspace 16M to 10M in MLE. Heck Saric will probably get an offer in the $16M range himself and then Sarver pays the MLE on top. In that case he´d even spend more money, too. So that makes absolutely no sense either. Just seems like a cheap shot, with no substance, at the Suns ownership or these Suns players.

EDIT: Oh it´s Hollinger, confirming why he was fired from the only executive job, he ever had in the NBA.

Which is one more you will ever had. You can't be like that...

Gallo, for example, who could be had in that range, is way better than Saric.

Bulls made him an UFA.

I am 100% IN, IN, IN on Shaq Harrison. I am STUNNED CHI just released him....

Well maybe Gallinari doesn´t want to play for Phoenix.

Maybe Phoenix are not impressed with Gallo´s career play-off averages of 15/5/2 with shooting percentages of 37.5% from the field and 30% from 3pt range.

As opposed to Saric, who in his only play-off appearance for Philly averaged 17/7/3.5, while shooting 42.1% from the field and 38.5%
from 3pt range.

Saric has actually contributed to winning a play-off series with his play-off performance, while Gallinari´s generally poor play has contributed to his teams losing in the first round all four times.

Maybe Saric steps it up in the play-offs, while Gallinari disappears.

Alright, dude, I retract all my posts about this. Saric is the god of the four-spot and Sarver is a genius. Go Suns!! Happy?

I kind of want this to happen. They win the finals and everyone hates them for bringing back the “superteam”. Gives us cover to sign Giannis and be “World superteam” and have everyone supporting us
