Same thing. I've just been conditioned to check my title every time I log in because of constant pranks from @"Kammrath" for like a year now.
I really like mine!!

Title was the same, sig was a bit different.
Additionally, I set both of you as “away” til my birthday! Admittedly I had and still have no idea what that does, but it was the only other non-harmful thing I could do.

Oh, I’m also assuming you both caught my custom report reason?

Ha! I didn't notice the title. OK, so I like the sig. Would you change my title back to "man"? Don't like that part too much, LOL.
I really like Chriss and am shocked, that he is not on a team. If our only option to keep him would be to cut Frank, it would be a really tough call. Any other options? I also would like to keep WCS's contract for trade purposes. Soooo... cut Burke? Sterling Brown?

I had no idea about any of this.

Brown has guaranteed money next year, and Burke has a player option next year. Both would be significantly more expensive than just cutting WCS, which would be significantly more expensive than cutting Ntilikina.

No real clarity achieved yet, and trading any of those players could possibly open a roster spot, but the most likely option right now, to me, is just not signing Chriss once everyone is healthy.

I doubt Ntilikina's contract was non-guaranteed until this date, but I didn't know MBrown was in that situation until today, so I guess it's possible that the French Prince was in the same boat. Does anyone know the answer?

Both your reasons for being away are because “closet DFS hater”. I’m thinking anyone who PM’s you will get this reason as an away reply!

Oh and the report reason was “Jerk face poopy pants”.

Well, I'm not very popular so I doubt I'll get any PM's anytime soon, but I have to admit that this is hilarious!

Spotrac has Frank's contract as guaranteed for this year and becoming guaranteed for next year on 4th July.
Would the Knicks (or the Mavs) look at a deal of Burke/WCS for Kemba.  Gives the Knicks a healthy PG option they are familiar with and WCS is expiring.

Mavs take on a bigger contract and a big injury risk and stick him in the 6th man role.  They also open up a roster spot and sign Chriss.

I don't know how hurt Kemba really is and how much the Knicks value him.

Maybe nothing here but the money works and Kemba and Powell give you some expiring contract ammo next year.

Standard it's not my money caveat and this just further complicates Cubes avoiding the Tax.

Frank was guaranteed when he signed for 21/22.  He is non-guaranteed for 22/23.

Moses was $500k guaranteed for 21/22 (now fully).  He in non-guaranteed for 22/23 at $1.8mm and there is a TO in 23/24 for right at $2.0mm

Chriss signed his second 10 day on 12/31.  We will know soon.

My hope is they cut Willie and keep Chriss (or make some 2 for 1 deal pretty quickly that sends out Willie)

I think that has to be everyone's hope now. I'll hope as hard as possible.

For whatever reason I had it in my head that WCS was only partially guaranteed this year, which is why it made sense to me that cutting him was an option. I'm having a hard time envisioning them throwing $4 million in the trash to keep Chriss. Hope I'm wrong.

I was curious about a Burke/WCS for one player trade as well to retain Criss.  Curious how much Kemba is guaranteed next year because if it's the full 9M then this is actually a much more expensive way of keeping Criss.

Along the same lines, I was looking at Willie for DJ Augustin.  He fits within the 175% rule and is only guaranteed $333k next season.  Saves Houston almost $3mm.

Here is the interesting possibility (need cap help here).  Willie for DJ works straight up, but, you could also structure the deal to bring DJ in as part of the TPE.  Normally you can't aggregate UNLESS the player was acquired using cap space.  What I'm wondering is whether the TPE counts as "cap space".  It was created because of cap space, but isn't technically cap space.  The benefit, if this works, is you could combine DJ with other players before the TDL and he brings back up to $12mm.  So, instead of Willie as a trade chip, you could have DJ as a trade chip.

Doesn't help with Chriss, but MIGHT be a way to make the Willie "chip" more valuable.  I'm just to busy/lazy to research it.
My educated guess is that they let Chriss go after his 2nd 10-day is up while making it clear to him that they'd love to have him back as soon as they have an open roster spot. He may get another 10-day contract somewhere else, but I think the chance of someone scooping him up with a guaranteed deal is still pretty low. So by the trade deadline he'll be back.
