So Omoruyi and McLaughlin keep their 2-way deals?

Yes, that Justin Jackson. They'll probably be waived by tomorrow and play in the g league though
Been there, done that with Jackson. But I really like the idea of stashing Onu to develop.
I was kinda hoping they find a way to keep Feron Hunt. I thought he showed some potential during the pre-season.

I agree.   I love how he runs the wings.   There is something there.   He may not get another two way from a team, but I really hope he makes the Legends.    If so, it wouldn't surprise me to see him get one of our two way spots at some time during the year.

Would you include the portion of Bullock that is guaranteed for 23/24 in the total guaranteed salary cell (thereby reducing the $32.4mm of max caproom in 23/24?

Had to get Justin Jackson back early to avoid the bidding war for his services

The waiver amount in 2022-23 may get stretched over 3 years, cap-wise.

Mavs have the ability to designate it that way, if they prefer, but it will have to be decided right away. Given the obvious pressure on the payroll in 22-23, with tax looming, and potential to have to deal with a lot of tax, perhaps hassle with the apron, and having to navigate contracts for Brunson and DFS, it would make sense that they will stretch it.

(Their decision will not be announced, nor will they answer if asked. But it will be reflected in Mavs payroll totals with the NBA front office, and at some point that will get out. Bobby Marks, among others, tends to look for those answers.)

Tony Ronzone maybe?

That's my guess, too.
Really don't think Bob's talent eval was a problem and honestly not sure he was anything more than a scapegoat in all this. Seems the falling out was much more between Donnie and Cuban than anything else. Just my guess.
Seems apparent the entire organization was a dysfunctional mess created by Cuban.

Everyone though Bob hated Donnie and/or Carlisle but here he is going out of his way to basically praise Carlisle and at least not blame Donnie in that one tweet.

Not really sure how much has changed other than we have new voices, Dirk amongst them.  We still have no idea how the power dynamic is divided.  Like when they decided Kyle Lowry was their main target.  How much of that was Cuban, Nico, Kidd, Finley, Dirk, or some other guy?
I wonder what Phoenix wanted for the #10 pick when the Mavs were trying to trade up for Haliburton.  Man he would make this team look a lot more complete.
Think about it, the only other person that had the power to overrule Donnie on draft night is Cuban.

That is obvious shade on Cuban and his thought process imo.

Can't play from your couch.  Eos for me.

Players with potential and talent come and go every year, and for whatever reason that isn't realized.  I hope he gets well, but he had had an awesome chance, want in the cards at this time.
