I think he and Hardaway are on similar levels, and it's a matter of fit. If you want catch and shoot, off-ball relocation, I think you prefer THJ. If you think you need playmaking, on-ball skills more, you prefer Bogdanovich. I could make an argument either way at this point, no idea what the Mavs would think.

To add to this hypothetical (which is only speculation from we, here, and has not come through any creditable rumors), I'd say that with Murray incoming and Huerter outgoing, along with THJ's history in ATL...I have no trouble believing that they would prefer Hardaway. I don't know that, but it makes sense to me. All of a sudden, they find themselves loaded with ball-handling (Bogdanovich has to be worried about his role, at this point) and pretty short on off-ball wings who can shoot.

I actually like this a lot.  Its not earth moving as mentioned above, but it makes sense from a fit perspective.  From the group of McGee/Wood/Maxi/Dorian/Bullock/Bogdan/Din/Luka you have a ton of combinations available.  Everybody is at least 6-6, you have no gaping holes defensively, you have 4 defensive guys and 4 offensive guys and 3 guys that can do some playmaking.

Yeah, I think I'd do it, too. What would it take for the math to work?

Seems like Bogdanovich for THJ works, straight up. Even shaves a little money for the Mavs. Could be a fit, imo.
BogBog for THJ? Yes please.

UNLESS another big trade needs THJ.

I'm calling it now.  JB for DPOY.

Man, I love Butler.  Never disappoints.
Honestly if Colin Sexton has no market that should mean he is pretty cheap no? CLE doesn't have the space to integrate him now with Rubio, Lavert, Neto and Garland.

Every player now is going to have his warts and Sexton has a few. The fact he can drop 20ppg and theoretically play good defense means his ceiling is higher than anyone else left on the market.

Hard to imagine them doing that without being close to a deal involving Turner.

If IND signs Ayton to an offer sheet, that puts a huge dent in the PHX pursuit of KD.

Re Turner, I don't think they will have any problem moving him if they get Ayton. Suitors will be lined up around the block, right?

You’d think so…idk. It’s so difficult to know which reports and rumors to believe and which to completely dismiss, but it seems like IND has been trying to trade Turner unsuccessfully for about two years now.
