Ha...Yep, I pray Nico has added some discipline into the franchise.  You are right  though.  In years past, a Star "in theory" mentions the Mavs as an possible destination and Mark looks like the Groundhog on groundhog's day.    Jalen gets a whiff that the Mavs are talking to Kyrie's team, he gets pissed off an leaves for not feeling wanted, Mavs strike out on Kyrie and wind up with a out of retirement Darren Collison as the replacement.

I think this Irving and Brooklyn drama might have effect on draft night trading activity. Teams will be waiting with their assets if there is a potential Durant trade possible.

So the Nets mortgage their future picks in order to bring together stars to make a contender only to see it fall apart before accomplishing anything?  I don't recall that happening since the last time the Nets did it.
