I’m very hesitant on including DFS in a Kyrie trade where there’s a chance we only have him for 2 months. Huge gamble, also, in any Kyrie contract going forward, it should absolutely have games played incentives (Big money incentives). I don’t think asking for Claxton is too much either if we were to include DFS and Wood to SD.

When Kyrie Irving is on the basketball floor the only team he is causing problems floor is the opponent.
Are these not facts?
Cleveland:
Left to be the man
Boston:
Couldn't gel with two young superstars
Promised Boston he'd resign, then signed with Brooklyn
Brooklyn:
Battled with Harden
Battled with Nash
Missed home games because he's antivaxx
Played in only 20, 54, and 29 games until this year (which is a contract year)
I mean, I don't think Kyrie could be worse than SD, so there's that at least.
DFS, SD, THJ, Bertans, McGee for Kyrie, Simmons, Curry. Almost even salary
Our problems for your problems kinda deal
I'm in if the Mavs aren't gutting the team and future picks to get him. I'm completely out if the haul is huge. Basketball wise, he's amazing. Mentally he's F'n crazy.

Simmons is so broke..lol. I'm not sure he's fixable at this point.

Sure, he likes to play basketball, but on his terms only. I stand by what I said: He no longer likes to compete in the NBA
for a team.
And I'll believe the cost will be cheap when I see it.
He's a bad, bad person, and extremely stupid. Of every professional basketball player in the world, Irving is who I'd want to put in a locker room with Luka the least. This would be the single worst move they can make, and it might end my fandom. Surely, surely they can't be this dumb.

When he doesn't suit up for 3 months because he wants the league to look into the conspiracy of Old MacDonald's farm I'd say that is MUCH worse than Dinwiddie.

Not sure, but Durant sure has a problem with Irving. That was the whole reason behind Durant's trade request this summer! It was also why Harden pulled the ripcord and tantrum'd his way out of Brooklyn.
The Durant thing was less overtly stated in the media than the Harden one - there's loads of info about how Kyrie is what made Harden bail - but I remember Windhorst and others doing some talks over the summer about "follow the actions, not the words" and it was EASY to see, based on timing, that Durant was done with Irving.
HE IS A BAD TEAMMATE WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT TEAM SUCCESS ANYMORE, IF HE EVER DID. I can't believe people are talking themselves into this. It is objectively a terrible, awful thing to do, targeting him.
