Almost seems like Portland gave Hart away. I mean Hart was a glue guy for them. He has some talent but are they that high on Reddish?

Not about Reddish, it's about getting younger and tanking while giving the younger guys a look. Lillard is gone this offseason.

I think they were more interested in the first it gave them. I don't know who but I think POR is trying to get an all-star.

Two completely opposite readings of the tea leaves. I honestly don't know which one I agree with. Both make sense. Will be fascinating to see what happens.

Think so huh?

Brunson is probably happy getting his Villanova teammate.
Minny got jobbed.  Conley and 2 SRPs????

The addition of Hart probably makes a Bullock reunion unlikely.

I guess we need to just see how the leftover parts work with Kyrie.

Watch, they're going to throw the farm for DeRozan and go for it.

That's not my favorite trade idea, but it does check a lot of boxes.

I wonder if PHI is still be interested in moving Harris, and if so, how about

Harris - Thybulle
for
Wood - THJ - McGee

PHI gets under the tax line as part of that deal.

I could get behind that. Harris could be a decent small ball C.

I suppose I don't hate it, but I think they're a guard/wing short as it is. Thybulle isn't going to be that much more usable than Ntilikina, imo, so you're possibly ending up TWO wings short in that scenario.

With the state of the roster, Harris could actually help right now, I think, and I've been resistant to ideas for him in the past.

Would def do that. Thybulle is much more playable in the playoffs than Nikitina despite his useless offense IMO, because he can guard more positions. Which doesn't mean he'd get that many minutes anyways, but he's def more useful.

Mavs have no more centers if they do this deal but DAMN what a forward rotation they'd have.

Green/Thybulle/Hardy
Harris/Bullock/Maxi

Thybulle's biggest super power on offense is his cutting ability. He cuts like Green. Having that next to Luka (And even Green) will be huge.

Man, idk...Philly needs defense, too, just like every team, and he's been on the block forever.

I think in a 7 game series, when the opponent knows every single thing you run...I just don't think you can win when a guy literally doesn't have to be guarded. It has become a spacing league. Everyone can play, not like in the 90's and early 2000's, so the team with 5 guys you have guard really, REALLY has an advantage over the team with only 4.

He IS a sick defender, however.

I like that deal, but honestly I would pull the trigger on Harris for Wood + THJ.  Harris is way over paid, but he is a solid quality starter and brings size that we will be missing without Wood or Dorian.

Oh I don't expect he would play that much. I do think however he could come out for 7-8 mins in certain games and completely lock someone down. That's actually pretty damn valuable.
Stein is on postgame show and said he now feels like THJ likely won't get moved before the deadline tomorrow.

you don't feel like they already have that guy in Ntilikina? I mean, I get that Thybulle is a little better and more versatile...

I think they need a legit 9th man for their rotation, as things stand. BEFORE moving two players.
Poor DFS
