Bertans and Wood a money match for Simmons.  How much could you extract out of the Nets to take on that mess of a contract and try and turn him into a 5 on offense and your big wing defender on defense?

Nope...can't make myself think there is a trade that's worth having Ben Simmons making $40 million on your roster.

LOL nothing. Nets would turn this down. Maybe for Wood + Powell + THJ, if they consider this more trade value than just acquiring Westbrook.

Reports say Nets are willing to add draft compensation for a team to take him. I don't think they care about the return.

If they throw a first at us and take on Bertans + Wood + Powell, I´d do it in a heartbeat. I´d even do Bertans + THJ + Powell for zero draft compensation. You´d rather pay Simmons 40M or THJ/Bertans 33M over the next 2 1/2 years.

People talk so much sh*t about him, because he lost his confidence. Yet he´s still a net positive and the Nets are 23-15, when he plays. And if we assume for a second that Kyrie is not full of sh*t about the Nets organisation (big if) then a change of scenery could rejuvenate him.

Didn't they use their cap on Crowder?

Look, I know not a single person here is going to agree with me, especial since @"Kammrath" is AWOL, but...

...needing that big wing to guard Durant, LeBron, Kawhhi, whatever, in the West...there are worse options in this world than trying Ben Simmons in that role.
