Expand it? THJ/SD/Wood for Kyrie/Claxton?
Stein bomb!
Desperate teams will make desperate moves. 1% win it all. 99% disaster waiting to happen.

He left Cleveland because he wanted to be the man.

He left Boston partly because he couldn't gel with two young superstars.

He went to Brooklyn to join with KD.

Since in Brooklyn he battled Harden, battled with Nash, refused to be vaccinated, and played in only 20, 54, and 29 games until this year (which is a contract year).

Don't see them giving up Claxton for Wood, but Timmy plus SD for a Kyrie rental would make some sense.  Cuban should be more than happy to offer Wood max extension after clearing that much salary.

My guess is LA will offer more if Lebron gives it the go ahead.
Kyrie is a weird bird. However I will do any deal for him in a heartbeat

This franchise is living on borrowed time with Luka. Any picks we have which we are reluctant to mortgage in a Kyrie trade, are probably going to be wasted anyway with an incompetent front office and owner.  If this move blows up in our face and Luka decides to accelerate his demand to move out, we can send Kyrie and Luka out and recoup some of the picks and get more assets as well.

Given that not taking a major risk means we are inevitably losing Luka anyway, why not take a chance?

Feels like a Cuban move.
It's even more Cuban if 2 second round picks.

I'd be on this if the trade would be:
THJ/SD/McGee for Kyrie and Seth.

Question is how many picks would be involved.

Good.

If we move Josh Green for Kyrie I'm rioting but if we can get him with some sort of Wood/Hardaway package then I can talk myself into it pretty quickly.

Curious what the Nets see his value as...I would assume they're asking for picks but they have very little leverage in this spot.
Well not even talking about if I want him, but Lakers need to be the favorite.  They have the best package if they offered it and the location Krazy Kyrie wants to wind up in.
Reminds me of the time when I thought that Rondo was the missing piece.

The Nets are in a unique situation where they can't really afford to trade for future 1sts and tank. So I'm not sure that's accurate.
