Got the big cog out of the way at the TDL, got rid of the fully 0 contributors at the draft. Let a good one go so far in FA. If he finds a trade for THJ and/or Powell, that’s pretty much exactly what Nico did.
My exact words....
Quote:I am on the record saying that I think the combined moves of this TDL and upcoming summer will DRASTICALLY reshape the roster (75+% turnover from the roster inherited by Nico). From the time Nico was hired I personally have expected KP and JB to both be moved by this summer.
The roster Nico inherited...
Luka
KP
JB
DFS
Maxi
THJ
JG
DP
JR
Melli
WCS
Boban
TB
NH
TBey
TT
Only 6 of 15 players (40%) remain. Three more need to go this summer if my prediction is right. Two more and I will have been really close.
Realistic list of wings we could trade Powell for where they may value his expiring deal.
Cedi Osman - 7.4 million
Isaac Okoro - 7.0 million
Kevin Huerter - 14.5 million (long shot)
Doug Mcdermott - 13.7 million
Taken Horton-Tucker - 10.7 million
Other options would be s&t deals for guys like…
TJ Warren
Derrick Jones Jr
Dante DeVincenzo
Bruce Brown

Add Green and I think the negotiation fight is between adding a first or second on Dallas side. Also, that gets Kamm to his 75%!

That would be awesome in my book. I'm probably Isaac's biggest fan on this board. I think he would be perfect for them.

Isaac hasn’t played in 2 years and has only played in about 1/3rd of the games he could have since he’s been in the league. It’s a big bet on potential with him, but if they don’t have to give up anything of real value it could pay off. Does Orlando even have interest in moving him? I guess they have an entirely new team since he last played pretty much.

THT, one of the always-hyped guys in this forum that I didn't buy into (I felt it was pure "he's a Laker discovery!" blindness driving that train). I don't always get it right on which ones will bloom, but he's one time I managed to get it right on which players not to bet on.
He may turn it around at some point, but he still looks pure meh to me.

If you trust Kidd on McGee, he'd have to sign off on THT too. Still only 21.

LOL
I'll admit I was a bit shocked they zeroed in on McGee, but unlike both of y'all I don't mind the number (as long as its 3/17), and don't mind the player. I'll reserve full judgement because I need to see Powell shipped off first to claim this a successful signing.
Looks like I'm the lead scout for @"SleepingHero"
