I could agree for Markkanen from Chicago perspective, but New Orleans has a 17 million TPE. So Markkanen might be more inclined to sign with them for more money.

Seems like the Pels are way less loved than even the Mavs when it comes to free agent signings. Nobody wanted their money this summer. Not even THJ at an extra $14M. Can’t see Markkanen wanting to back up Zion and Jonas there.

I saw one Pelicans fan say they don´t have their $17M TPE anymore. They used their capspace to sign Oubre, right? So that means they automatically lose their TPEs.
