Hate to hear that. God bless and help Ced!
From Stein power rankings:

1️⃣3️⃣ Dallas Mavericks
Dallas' hopes for a significant roster shuffle around Luka Dončić failed to materialize, but Dončić will return from his impressive Olympic exploits in Tokyo to a completely new coaching staff and front office in Big D. It's no accident that new Mavericks coach Jason Kidd stayed even longer in Latvia huddling with Kristaps Porzingis than the team's delegation spent in Slovenia for the recent signing of Dončić's $200-plus million contract extension, since coaxing a bounce-back year out of Porzingis is likely the key variable in the Mavericks' quest to win a playoff series for the first time in more than a decade.
Prayers for Ced and his family...hope to see him back for Mavs broadcasts this year if possible...

I want Luka to practice his free throws on this hoop.

Seems like we know who advocated for signing Hinton in the first place.

Again he was a great dude, just a bad basketball player. Wish him luck.

So tired of Cuban almost trades. "Almost" doesn't it cut.

You could make an all star team out of the "almost" Mavs over the years.

"The Mavericks remain confident Dragic will end up on the roster one way or another. I won’t rehash the mechanics of how he could end up here or why Toronto hasn’t budged as of yet, but you can re-read my conversation with Blake Murphy last month."

interesting...sign of something coming down the pike?
We need mavsluvr to call Mark (Cuban, not himself), or Kam to call Nico, or Killer to call the Mavs halftime entertainment director, or Dan to call an agent or Gump to call whoever he calls, and find out what's going down.

Interesting.   Even though he is more accomplished than Moses Brown and maybe even the better player, If I had to choose one to stay, I would prefer it be Brown.   This would be even more so if Dragic was bought out.

Because we have not cap room moving forward, does releasing him cause any issues?

Goran does have professional basketball player for the raptors on his bio.  Has he had that for a while?
