Speaking of, isn't Dragic in Ljubljana as we speak? Pretty interesting Cuban flew the whole crew out just to sign Luka's contract. Perhaps there could be some extracurricular activities going on?

All along, the Dragic outcome has been a 3-sided negotiation, with much of it being done via the media.

The negotiating is on two possibilities. One is  over a trade, and what it takes. Another is about a buyout, and who gives up what.

None of that has changed.

If you believe the public pronouncements that TOR is committed to keeping Dragic, and their assertions that he's thrilled to be a Raptor, you're simply buying the PR spin from one party in the negotiations. If you think this has ever been over, you're missing the full picture. 

Nothing guarantees he lands in Dallas, but until he's off the Raptors, this isn't over at any point. And deals with this much interest and momentum tend to eventually find a solution and get done.

If I'm looking at potential ways this can resolve, my "best" current guess is that it's headed to a buyout, and they are still wrestling over how much each party is giving up.

I am skeptical of the $75M number, coning from the agent. I'm expecting that will include potential incentive bonuses too, but that the total in salary will be well below that number, and closer to the $72M initially reported by media.

We'll know more soon.

I could be wrong, but I think the guy in black might be Bill Duffy. The guy in blue might be Enrique Villalobos, another BDA agent. Both are supposed to be there for the press conference to enjoy the windfall of their famous client.

This is why Dragic to Dallas happens one way or another. He is the reason for Luka joining BDA. Toronto is going to play ball  one way or another just to stay in good standing with Duffy

Boban for 2/7 is good news. I thought vet min but if Cuban is cool with that i have less doubt that he’ll be unwilling to go deep into the tax. We’ll duck it this year but the next few years after for sure
