I was under the assumption that KP was vaccinated.  He was put on the COVID list on January 2nd.  This is Day 12.  I'm stunned KP isn't available for tonight's game.  Maybe he'll be available tomorrow against Orlando.  Fingers crossed.

I have this sneaking suspicion that the Mavs are misusing the Covid protocols as they burn up the phones for trades, and that there's going to be a consequence when the league steps in. Hope it's not something like not being able to sign Chriss for the rest of the year.

Even if there is some roster shenanigans going on, I imagine punishing a team for being too cautious with Covid is probably not something the league is ready for just yet.

Yeah, I think Mavs could always use "taking an abundance of caution" to justify their actions even if it is bending the rules in order to keep Chriss on the roster.

It does make me think they must be close to a trade to open up a roster spot and just need a little extra time to finalize it.  Guess we'll find out soon...
