Why doesn't he play whenever UTA tries to go small with 6'6" Pashall at center. Protect the rim and dare Pashall to his something from outside. Offensively, he would be a problem for UTA to counter.
Because Kidd and staff value spacing on offense to generate paint shots and open 3 pointers. And more importantly, Sweeney and Kidd are not going back to the old drop coverage on defense - they’ll get lit up.
Was it Clutch who used to man this post? We no longer keep up with the Mavs news here. It’s depressing how little activity there is during such an exciting playoff run.
