That's a bit of a technicality. If Mark and the Mavs feel this strongly about it then it may very well impact the team's decision on Burke.
Other teams picking up guys that played for Mavs in the summer league (saw Figueroa being picked up before). Really wondering what is going on with the Legends.

Thanks for posting. I don't really disagree with anything Cuban says in that clip, but I always feel worse after hearing him talk basketball. He surely knows more basketball than me, but I never leave an interview feeling better about the Mavs. Ha.

Thanks for this. I had not heard before that Kidd was the instigator for adding DeShawn Stevenson to the starting lineup. Adds some perspective to the story of him asking Luka/KP/THJ about who should be the 5th starter.
I’m also interested to see how Kidd values and uses a young guy who does everything well except shoot: Josh Green. It’s not a stretch to say Kidd was in a similar boat his first few years in the league. Arguably all of them.

Hold on a sec. Did you watch JKidd his first years with the Mavs? He couldn't shoot, but he wasn't in the same boat as Josh, or anyone else on the team, really. He was a rookie star, top PG, as soon as he stepped on the floor, even without a shot.
I guess if you just meant "same shooting boat" I won't push back. But rookie Kidd was closer to being in Luka's rookie boat than Green's if we're talking complete game and iimpact.
Kidd was co-rookie of the year. I saw every game but then I saw every game Derek and Ro played as well. Kidd’s first year was better Dirk and everyone but Luka.
Jason Kidd never lost an international game. His playing credentials are easily top 3 for his career for all Mavericks. Yes he did add shooting and that did extend his career.
Now can he coach. Great coach on the floor doesn’t always translate. Michael Jordon couldn’t coach. It will be interesting to see.

One of Kidd's strengths is he knows how much pride plays a role for players. Having THJ and KP as the decisionmakers alongside Luka gives them that recognition. I don't think that everything from last year was Carlisle's fault which is what Kidd and KP are hinting at.

All you have to do is watch the team during a preseason game and you know everyone is much happier and look a lot more like best friends...
Giving your top 3 players a voice in how the team is ran on the court let's you know why THJ turned down better money for a team he wants to go to battle with...
Hell KP smiled more in the warmups last game than he did all last season total...
