See now I don’t necessarily understand waiving a player that other teams have interest in...why not trade his 2-way deal to a team for cash? Or something?
Also weird that Dallas would release their TC roster (without the full coaching staff) and then less than a week later cut one of the 2-way players

Hinton seems like a good kid and has a lot of energy on the bench but he really hasn't shown much of anything on the court.

Thanks for finding this. Checking available free agents, there is really not much left. I always liked Jordan MacLaughlin, if he would want another two way deal. Totally capable playing some solid back-up minutes.

He’d be a great pickup on a 2-way. Disappointed that DSJ and Frank are too old to be 2-way players, since that would’ve been a great way to bring either one of them on

I don't know I could be convinced that Dragic and Love are exactly the type of guys this team needs. They both fill a role. They're both vets with winning history. 

I mean for as useless as Love has been I'd much rather have him and his potential reclamation versus say WCS. We've spoken about Dragic to death and what he can bring.

What I'd like to see happen: Moses is converted to a two-way contract opening up a roster spot for Dragic. What I think will happen: Feron Hunt.

Who would we even waive to add a bought out Dragic? We just announced Moses Brown and took pictures with his jersey a few hours ago. Powell and Burke have guaranteed money after this year. WCS had his team option picked up. Everyone else was either just signed or the rookies(Green, Terry). 

Seems like a two for one trade would fix some issues. Something like:

Dallas gets Millsap via SnT

Denver gets Burke and a 2nd from Team X

Team X gets Terry

I think Moses Brown is the obvious choice number 1. There is no way he will get minutes with so many centers on the roster. Dumping Burke with a second rounder attached or dumping Terry are next possibilities, imho

Depending on how you classify them, Brown might be our best center, sadly.  He's also way more ready to contribute than Terry.  Burke would probably be my candidate unless Kidd is a Burke whisperer.

I get that he's not a star, but signing players like him early is what other teams have always succeeded at (and subsequently benefited from) while mavs waited. It's something I think a lot of us have wanted the mavs to do for a while now, so I'm glad they took that approach.

The Donnie Nelson special would have been to let Bullock string us along for two weeks and then given up two 2nd rounders for someone most of hadn't heard of once Bullock went elsewhere.

I think RC was the Burke whisperer...would we take J. Lamb into our TPE, and send Burke + WCS either as a trade match or into the Pacers various TPEs? Would free up a C spot for Brown and a roster space for Dragic (or other player)
