Sit Luka for 2 weeks just to be safe. Play Brunson 40+minutes and let's see how he looks!

Such a shame. The game was already over, as a practical matter, when this incident occurred.

Feels somewhat conflicting of Shams.

Not really. No damage that can be identified by tests doesn't mean no pain (or soreness or just tightness). In a must win situation (playoffs), a player with no damage may play through the pain, but 13 games into the season, you take a conservative approach with your young superstar (game time decisions until he's feeling 100% confident in the leg again)

I was just trying to point out that Shams made it sound like he may not miss time right before MacMahon said otherwise.
Sucks Luka is hurt and will miss time but I guess it could be worse, stupid Austin Rivers.

So is Roddy like the 6th man or something then?

I love your bit.

It's a good conversation, though. Who would the next 5 be?

Najera would have to make it, I'd think.
Popeye Jones is in there, cause I'm not sure he is from this world!  Big Grin
JJB/Roddy/Najera/Maxi/Powell

Kind of want to put Mbenga over Powell simply because I'm a fanboy.  Diop should probably get some love too.

Also, based on them putting Peja in, it seems to be based on the players overall career and not their career with the Mavs and if that were the case it kind of feels like Jose Calderon should get a spot somewhere.
Wiki also includes Shawn Bradley as a German born player and Raja Bell.

Can't forget about fan favorite Wang Zhizhi too.

Speaking of fanboys, I totally forgot about Barea, which is shocking, coming from me. I think I'd like to amend the STARTING 5 to the following:

Nash
Barea
Luka
Dirk
KP (in danger of losing his spot to Kleber if he regresses again)

JJB definitely feels more appropriate than Peja imo.

Damn, Rolando Blackman was actually born in Panama.

Gal Mekel probably lurking on this board right now pounding his keyboard in anger.

Detlef Schrempf, the foreign-born who started it all (for Dallas). He was great here, but his career was better!
Barea,  Blackmon,  Schrempf,  Najera,  Bradley

Hmmm, I think he's one who should replace Peja moving Luka to the 3.

I fell for the Mekel hype.

I spent a lot of time during that preseason here promising everyone he was going to be great. Like somewhere between Rubio and Kidd great. (Lol)

If I remember correctly, I don't think he made it out of the preseason. Not my best Mavs take of all time.
One year/hit foreign wonders.  Calderon,  Danilovic,  Stojakovic,  Melli,  Pachulia.
I'll throw out Uwe Blab and Bill Wennington.
Who was the Indian-born guy that Cuban drafted? That guy is the 15th man! Gotta get those Indian TV views up!!!!
