Trying is not enough, you have to execute. I am also trying very hard for a date with Megan Fox. Does this make me a resident stud?
I’m trying really hard to get a date with Hilary duff. Maybe we can double.

Let me put it this way: did you yell at Megan Fox from across the street, did she stop and turn around? In that case I consider you a stud, cause Cuban has been yelling at free agents for 20 years, none of them ever stopped and turned around. Big Grin
I'm trying to decide whether to be discouraged or disinterested
Marc Stein has the Mavs #18 in his recent power rankings:

Quote:The Mavericks do have some things to feel good about — most notably encouraging production from Kristaps Porzingis and the fact that Luka Dončić and Jalen Brunson came through recent injury scares that looked potentially grim about as well as they could have. Dallas, though, still has just two wins over teams that currently hold a winning record and will continue to have a limited ceiling unless Porzingis surpasses Brunson as the team's second-most consistent player. The Mavs need a lot more from Tim Hardaway Jr., too, with Hardaway shooting just 38% from the floor after signing a new four-year, $75 million deal.

hmm....WCS was out with illness last game and now it says he is out for personal.  Weird.

I am sure Dwight Powell vs Jonas will end well.  We will probably need to break out the emergency Boban game tonight.

Honestly don't know why we don't start Boban and play him for 6 minutes.  His instant offense will at least set the tone for the team and his size will make it hard for energetic bigs to bully the Mavs with their hustle.
This will help get some averages back to the mean....

Maybe Friday we can move into the positive.

I can't remember, was KP questionable for last night's game? I was super shocked to see him playing (in a good way).

Ok, cool, so probably not a worsening of the situation, we hope.

Believe he was questionable, then upgraded to probable.

Mavs have B2B and it is reasonably to assume they will sit KP one game. Based on the performance from yesterday, NO might be a safer option.
