This is interesting, to me.

Either this version of the front office is doing much more of this type of thing, or we're hearing about it much more frequently.

One of the more impressive things they did last season, imo, is keep a steady trickle of actually usable people flowing through the roster during the Covid situation. Or wait - was that the year before?

Riller was interesting, but he has bounced around a little.  Lecque is a raw, athletic kid.   Good one to take a look at.  I liked Huff at UVA, but not sure if he is a fit.  Don't know much about others.

I agree....maybe one or two of them make our summer league roster.

I kept waiting on Huff to hit.  He had some moments when he looked like he was, but never really popped.

Interesting part is that there isn´t a single one of the COVID players among the mentioned names. Just not mentioned or have they seen enough and moved on?

Including a lot of guys that never played for the Mavs. How would it look if we exclude traded picks like Olynyk, Zeller, Spanoulis and Milton.
Only 4 players above the channel (that had a significant impact for us) in 32 years!!??!?!?

Fuck me. Literally two picks away from being the Kings. If international scouting was good back in the day we wouldn’t have got Dirk. If multiple teams didn’t shit the bed we would have Wendell Carter right now.

BRB gonna go throw up. Save us Nico.

I could be over thinking this...but just commenting on the last sentence...

To suggest that Kyrie isnt worth removing the ball from Luka's hands while he is supposedly on the trade block makes no sense.

Just a stupid post regardless on if we have the ammo to get him or not.  Dude is a bone-a-fide baller....can create and shoot lights out.
Kyrie would implode our chemistry like no one else
I think its all BS...

Posters want to find a reason to hate.

Dude move the needle like no one else.

Youre a psychology bot if you try and argue against it.

I saw him and KD, both of whom you are going to claim are weak minded and selfish, getting along like perfect teammates in an KD post game interview.

We have a bunch of unselfish players so the risk is low.  I assume you are going to bring a bunch of non-bball related stuff into this to try and argue your point.

The point still stands....dude moves the needle way more than the risk.   Unless youre a fake covid thumper.

What's with the aggression?
I'm not sure why we would ever have a discussion about Kyrie. He's not even hypothetical.

And I echo mvossman. What's with the hostility?
Why discuss smart moves but treat Kyrie like nuclear matter no one wants to touch?

Hes one of the best players ever at a position that would kill with Luka.

Youre not playing fair.  Youre moving the goal posts.

Its like saying I would rather have a Toyota Corolla vs a Formula One Drag racer.

Ive put you in your place.  Youre a lie.
