For these reports to show up today, imho, suggests that this might NOT be done...the Mavs MIGHT not be done until later in the offseason., BUT why would we need new reports today, saying what we already know, but saying a tad stronger?

And well we also know that the Mavs’ brass is heading to Slovenia for the max extension with surely Bill Duffy there (and maybe Dragic).

I think Toronto is overplaying their hand.

I could be wrong, but these guys typically answer fan questions in the comments and discussion that happens from their tweet. I don't think they issue new Tweets and links to newsletters and include new quotes from teams in order to answer fan questions.

I guess I wouldn't say AGAINST Dallas. He's just the one that TOR is messaging through and Jake is who Dallas is messaging through. Which IS interesting based on his Dallas ties.

Thank God the Mavs won a championship and Dirk got a ring because without that I'm not sure how much I can "hold on" watching Cuban be the sh*tty owner that he is.  

Every FA offseason the Mavs (and me) are Charlie Brown and the NBA and free agents are Lucy with the football.  And I fall for it every time.

Hell, Cuban is probably going to show up to Luka's extension with a damn animated video of Luka as a damn Mavel/DC character.

I didn't listen to the Fisher greenroom so I might be wrong. What I saw in the tweet about Fisher was that Dallas thinks Dragic will be bought out. Stein said that will not happen. 

To be honest, I agree with Stein. I don't know why Toronto would buy him out, even if they save a couple od dollars. He is expiring and could be used in some blockbuster deal they are working on and could be working on till TDL. They could also use a back-up point guard

It really isn’t close. People seem to have forgotten how awesome Brunson was last season because of the last 4-5 games of the Clippers series.
