Hayward is having himself a game, too.

Bogdanovic is not. I still don't get the fascination with him.
Fultz just tore his ACL. Sucks for him and the Magic.
Julius Randle has still activated god mode 30-16-7 in a win over the Jazz, though he passed it along to Rivers in the 4th, who went completely bonkers in the last 5-6 minutes.

The Knicks are a mild surprise.  Not a easy win, at least thus far. Thibs has them competing.
Beal drops 60 on the Sixers in a loss.
Might be the best game Curry has ever played (offensively)

Empty stats.

Am I doing it right?
I love J-Rich and I think he'll continue to get better, but Seth Curry is having a heck of a season for the 76ers.

In 30 minutes a game: Seth is averaging 17 points 4 assists 2 rebounds and 1 steal

He's shooting a staggering 60% from the field, 60% from 3 point land, 100% from the FT line

He's been terrific for the 76ers

But I would still take J-Rich and the potential of Tyler Bey being a contributor down the road over Seth despite his fantastic numbers.  Your thoughts?

I was pro-trade from the moment it happened, so not going to change now.  There will be some regression to the mean for Curry.  The true test will come in the playoffs when teams game plan to attack him.

Philly has played with a full compliment for most games and has 3 max/near-max players on their roster.  Dallas has been without KP forcing Richardson into a greater role than expected with less spacing than expected.  Let's talk in a couple of months or after the playoffs.  I think this will work out just fine once we get set rotations.

Give it some time. I already mentioned it in another thread. Richardsons defense is clearly helping the team in matchups vs great perimeter scorers. On offense he looks similar to Delon Wright last year and that´s obviously a problem. Being overly agressive in one game and refusing to shoot in the next one. Good thing is that he is simply more talented than Wright ever was. I don´t think he will finish the season with a career low 3P% and ast/tov ratio. This time it is worth it to go through some growing pains and hope that he can find his role.

Also the look at the schedule of 76ers:
WSH, NYK, CLE, TOR, ORL, CHA, CHA, WSH all defensive powerhouses! Big Grin
I mean Seth is doing what he's always done in his career. He's a fantastic shooter. Philly was desperate for someone like that in their system and Doc is making sure he's being used to his full potential.

Does that mean JRich is bad or we lost the trade? No of course not. We needed JRich and our defensive numbers are showing his impact already.

We're also seeing our offense without someone like Curry in the mix coming off the bench and it's the sole reason why THJ is being moved their now.

J Rich is the far better for us. We have a defense on another level than with Curry.

When we started with Luka-jRich-DFS-Maxi-WCS. This was the best defensive lineup we ever started with in Lukas time here. It was really disruptive for the opponents. All 5 defensive players and there was no "holes" in defense or easy ways to get baskets. This was the first time Ive seen this here in Dallas in Lukas time.

Yet, the same time also offensive production was there with this lineup.

Lukas defense has gotten a lot better. Is it JRich that sends the standards and it spreads to other teammates? Could be. Or it is Luka with more experience. Or a combination. One thing for sure is that when you have bad defenders in a lineup, this can easy spred like a virus to other teammates. I think this was the first time we started and there was no bad defender in the lineup. Every player on Mavs team knew that and played better D because of this. Rockers were struggling to get to the basket. Every shot was contested. This is the basketball we want to see.

Its crazy to think that soon we can replace WCS with KP that is even far far better defender (and offensive player as well). We will have 5 plus defenders starting. It will be tough for any team to break us down. With Luk and KP, we will always have some good offense. Even on bad nights. We need to surround them with plus defenders. With Jrich, Maxi and DFS, we have just that. Not only that but we have 5 two way players starting. All 5 that can defend. All 5 that can score in different ways. All 5 shooters. Its going to be near impossible to break Mavs down in a long series.

Skip is Lukas biggest fan, perhaps even more than you and me. He wants Luka to improve his 3pt percentage, so that he wins the next 10 championships. In some ways he is right. A thing he forgets to mention, but he knows it well, is that Lukas defense is a lot improved. In fact he is becoming a solid defender (and outstanding rebounder). And his FT percentage has improved continuously.

Cant wait to see the Luka-JRich-DFS-Maxi-KP lineup. They will destroy some teams just on pure defense alone.

I don't think he forgets to mention it, my dude. I think he elects not to mention it in order not to bog down his trolling.

Jarrett Allen is destroying him. 19 pts, 8/9 shooting, 18 rebs, 3 stls and 2 blks in three quarters. Gobert shooting 30%.
How do you say daddy in Nigerian?

Embiid cooled off by Tyson Jr.

Jarrett Allen is making himself some serious dough right now. Nets better get that $100M taxpayer check ready.
Damn ! Seth Curry is shooting 59.5% from 3. Obviously leads the NBA.
