Given that he'll have to quarantine and wait a day for a test, this was probably the last day Harden could've showed before preseason began

WTF??? Is that supposed to be beautiful or he entered some "miss of christmas tree" competition?
Seems like LaMello is totally focused on basketball, and his career will undoubtedly get off to a great start.
Just based on that video alone, I can see Lamelo's career lasting at least 15 years.
gotta get that bling!

Let´s see who will be laughing, when Marcus Smart is up in his grill, LaMelo flashes that smile, completely blinds Smart and drives by him for an easy lay-up. It´s genius. Of course in the next game Smart will counter with this Cool .
calling it now, Lamelo will have a Luka like rookie season, proving his doubters wrong
Luka Samanic, but still

Houston HAS to cut tucker right? That'd bring their tax line to almost 0.

Cutting is not enough, someone has to take him in cap space.

Thought Tucker's contract is non-guaranteed? They can cut him for free and it won't count against them. Obviously they wouldn't let such a key guy just walk though to dodge an 8 mil tax bill.

Really? Didn't see that one, I thought he is guaranteed

Short drive so I didn't hear much, but he commented that the ability to free up cap space next summer with the expirings and TOs was not intentional. They didn't really have a plan powder and that they would have moved on Jones and Richardson regardless, it just turned out to give them (potentially) a lot of cap flexibility next summer.

So you can believe as much or as little of that as you want.

That's all from this intrepid cub reporter today.  Cool

I think this deserves more attention than it got yesterday.  Thanks for the report.

It seems clear to me there were certain things they were willing to do that would have used up 2021 cap space.  So, space isn't the holy grail.  The reason this is important is it means they won't hesitate to use up the space if the right deal comes along.  Max space comes at a pretty high cost...JRich, THJ, WCS, Boban and Johnson.  That's 1/3 of the roster and 2/5ths of the starting lineup.
