It's early in these playoffs, but damn Brooklyn looks good, even without Harden.

Guess that means D´Antoni wins a title afterall. Also don´t worry we are coming to get them. Just wait till we acquire Adams and sign Dragic. Then it´s over for them. Big Grin
Thibodeau wins 2nd NBA COY. He won it exactly 10 yrs ago with the Bulls.
Giannis might have screwed up. Playoffs are a different game and he is not a star level half court creator. Middleton and Holiday aren´t getting any younger. Bucks are in trouble.
Biggest disappointment. KD is torching Holiday and Tucker. Both can stay in front of him but he simply shoots over them.  Time for the superstar and former DPOY to step up and defend KD. That´s what Kawhi did in the last three games of the Mavs-Clippers series.

Had Giannis forewent his extension this would quite possibly be the most dream scenario for any of the Giannis suitors.

But he had to go and muck it up. I admire his loyalty but he ain't winning a thing in MIL.
Didn't watch the game and I have a hard time understanding how Milwaukee can't score against Nets who don't play defense. Two games in a row now. Or Nets do play defense?
Giannis is Euro AD. I wonder when he'll realize he needs Euro Lebron

 They do.
And generally,  it has become an offense first league.
One team is dominant at that end, the other isn't anywhere near that

He is a Euro Dame tbh.
He cares more about local legacy over worldwide one

Honestly,  if you are not potential top 10 of all time, it is the smart thing to do

If Cuban was smart, he´d recognize that this is a golden oportunity to sign Masai Ujiri. That is all about money, stature, position and responsibility. There is no capspace that says you can´t sign Ujiri.

First of all he can re-tool our current roster better than the MBT can and show them the way modern NBA franchises are run. Second of all he can also establish an asset managment plan that will enable us to make a play for his son Giannis in 2-3 years, when the inevitable trade demand comes.

There are many front offices who are more loaded than Cuban. IIRC Raptors ownership are one of them.
Masai will need full control to come here, which won't happen.
If anyone comes, he will be like Rosas and will have to work with Donnie and Cuban

Statistically, the numbers say they're not as a team.  But they can get stops at key moments in the game. And KD is very underrated as a defender.

Defense has become nearly impossible to do consistently at a high level in this league. Just too many skilled players with a reffing system that favors the offensive player every time means that it doesn't matter how skilled you are as a defender, the offensive player ALWAYS has the advantage.

Makes you wonder a bit if prioritizing a better defense is all for naught.

Brian Windhorst said it, the Nets vs Bucks could be defining for the league
If Nets win it , it could change the league to only offense type of team.
I won't go as far as one series making such difference,   but if Nets win it all, I can see the league going YOLO on offense

I think endeavoring to improve your defense is great, and always will be. But, in today’s game, if your offense can’t hang on a playoff level, it literally doesn’t matter how good your defense is. My opinion. As long as Nets stay healthy, I think they have the next 2-3 titles in the bag already.
Doing my best to reserve my opinion until a home team loses but I just don't understand the Bucks because they shouldn't have these kind of scoring issues.  Maybe Bud/Giannis really are just that easy to scheme for but they shouldn't be getting embarrassed like that with this roster.
