Hawks are literally triple-teaming Lavine and the rest of the Bulls can´t make an open shot to save their lives, except Vuc occasionally.

Lavine would pretty easily be the best offensive player Luka has every played with. Like if Brunson and THJ were combined into one player and then that one player's talent was doubled.
The Bulls are hot garbage and have no future so it's pretty likely he'll be available at some point.

Agreed. It was insane. They double and triple-teamed him the whole 2nd half and waited with another guy at the rim. Only points he managed in the 2nd half were some early offense points at the rim, when he could beat/avoid the traps. Finished with a career-high 50, which isn´t even the day-high as Tatum has 53. and counting.
I don´t know how Lavine wouldn´t want to play with a 2nd star. It must be frustrating to have so little help. Pacers win, Celtics win, Hawks win, Knicks with a miracle comeback behind Barrett, Randle and Burks against Grizzlies. Shame the Raptors and Wizards suck so much this year and Cavs/Magic/Pistons have no desire to make 10th place.

I do want to say after watching that Hawks vs Bulls game, my biggest takeaway was holy crap Lauri Markkannen can't defend a traffic cone.
He made 112 year old Gallo look like prime Baron Davis at times. He hustled a lot for sure, but he is a sieve defensively at least in that game. Thought he was better than that.

Dont know if this had been talked about on here...first time Im hearing about Zion playing point/primary ball handler for heavy minutes Has this been since/why Ball has been out? To experiment with this?
I dont really see a lot of Zion hype but he is killing it. Is he underrated? People dont like his play style? He can be easily neutralized in playoffs? People desensitized to Zion because of Pre NBA hype?
I guess Ball is on the move for sure.

Zion has great stats, but team sucks. First of all he is terrible on defense. Since he is not a threat from outside, there is basically little choice but give him the ball. Ball is kind of good fit next to him, as he can play off ball. Big question for them is, if it is worth paying most of cap for the core of Zion-Ingram-Ball, that can't even get in the play-in. These last 20 or so games are very important for future of a couple of players, per Hollinger. Ball is one of them.

Has Zion shown that he can do anything on defense...even flashes? I'll use Luka as an example...everyone thought he was going to be a defensive liability...but he flashed he can play defense in the bubble and he is flashing it more this year. I am guessing Luka saves his energy for offense in regular season....but he can definitely play defense. Dont know if Zion has shown any hope that he can play that side of the ball.
Yeah...everyone on here says Ball seems perfect for that team. I guess Lonzo and the fam want him on a larger market team? If Lonzo develops a dependable 3 shot like JKidd did at end of his career...Lonzo will be a bargain at 20M per.
