Is anyone watching the Clips v Suns game?

Can someone explain to me why Kawhi Leonard is watching the game from a suite up high and is not sitting on the court with his team?

Kawhi just needs to play 2 quarters a game at full tilt and Luka can carry the way.

I don't know what team can stop that 1-2 punch.

He might hurt his knee further if he is on the bench with his team....??
I'm not normally for trading KP on the cheap, but...

Step 1: KP/Powell to OKC for 2021 #16 overall and the lesser of their FOUR 2023 FRPs + 2022 2nd
Step 2: Maxi/Green/#16 + two 2022 2nds to Pacers for Myles Turner
Step 3: Trade Richardson/Brunson for Marcus Smart
Step 4: Let THJ walk
Step 5: Sign Mike Conley 3yr/$57 mil
Step 6: Sign Kawaii to contract starting at $38 mil
Step 7: Championship

Conley
Smart
Luka
Kawaii
Turner

(Yes, I may or may not be huffing glue, but I feel like as each of these dominos fall, the less improbable the next step becomes)

When a player has already mentally checked out, when does it stop being his team?
LOL at Crowder bricking threes for the Suns. Shoulda been a Mav this year, buddy.
For those not watching they have been stuck on this score forever....

More comfortable in the suite.
That was one of the most painful and unbearable games that I've seen in NBA playoff history.  Are these are the two best teams in the Western Conference?

That might just be the reason and there's nothing else to it...

But I will say I found it incredible. I don't think I've ever seen the superstar of a team choose to sit in a suite away from his guys while he's injured during a critical playoff game. Sure there are times when guys have to stay home due to injury but Kawhi obviously could make it to the game.

And yet he decides to not be down in the trenches with his teammates and foregoes trying to motivate them/offer advice during the game. Eerily reminiscent of the stuff he pulled on the Spurs before he was traded.

I believe Russell Westbrook sat in a team suite during the OKC playoffs when he had a broken leg.

Kawhi was roasted on Twitter for the choice, but I guess it's okay with the team, since he's doing it. He went down to join the team in the locker room and offer his advice at halftime, at least during Game 3. Some people think his choice of seating bodes ill for his playing with the Clippers again, but who can decipher Leonard's inscrutable countenance?

I really don't know how uncomfortable it is for him to sit on the bench with his particular injury.

Gotta hide the Luka jersey he was wearing.

Honestly, there is literally nothing besides being in a full body cast that would make me think that this is okay...regardless of who's okay with it.  It really makes me lose a lot of respect for Kawhi, and truthfully, things like that make me want him less, no matter how good he is.

I'd still hang in there if we signed or traded for him, maybe even be a little excited, but man...if he's done already in LA because of the training staff...with his track record of bolting...I would highly question his loyalty, and I'd expect him to quit when things didn't go his way.

If we were to get him though, it would be with cap space or SnT with much lesser assets than normal, so him leaving earlier than his contract being up at least gets us some assets back.
