The question is will the Magic give him time to work through the process of a total rebuild.  I'm actually surprised he got the nod over other candidates who have more name recognition.  Must have had a great interview.

The answer to your second sentence is in your first sentence, I think.

Same way Silas got the Houston gig.

Gosh I hope the Magic nail the next 2-3 drafts, so when the times comes the Mavs get some great players for Luka. Big Grin
Quote:There are positive signs that Raptors president of basketball operations Masai Ujiri plans to sign an extension, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports. He’s conducting business as usual, focusing on the draft and free agency. A player agent told Grange “he’s coming back” and another source at the recent combine said Ujiri was acting as if he’s “on a mission to win another title.”

Ujiri is presumably a free agent this summer and there are still some concerns another franchise, such as the Clippers, could swoop in at the last minute and try to woo him away.

If one out of Bamba/WCJ and Anthony/Hampton takes the next step they have a solid rotation. Not like the east has any depth so it wouldn´t suprise me if they can sneak into the playoffs.

The problem with the Magic is that they don't have the guy to build around.
Magic seem like a prime candidate to try and move up in the draft and get their "star".

I think Brooks just like to coach.

Brooks is a hell of a coach. He just isn't an X's and O's guy. He should be a head coach somewhere right now tho with a younger team.  Players get better wherever he coaches.

When Spencer Dinwiddie pictures the salary cap in his head...

Original article for the tweet above. Basically says Love and Sexton could be a package.

I would potentially be open to considering that for KP.

Not a big fan of Sexton (his defensive numbers are like Trae bad), but maybe a change of scenery would wake him up.

Achiuwa is one of my favorite guys from the last draft class that I wish the Mavs had drafted....

Did I read somewhere that it was Sexton's ball bounding that was driving Love crazy in CLV?

Sexton is an inefficient chucker that has a lot of talent but also a lot of growing up to do. I don't think Mavs would want to wait for him to grow up. That's why I proposed a couple of three team ideas a page or so back.

I try to go back a page or so to see what is going on.  But by that time the subject has changed a few times.  I'll go back and check for your posts.

Thanks for the reply.

Well if one person would know anything about having growing up to do, it´s Kevin Love, who was the biggest child on the Cavs.

Since the Cavs want to get rid of Love and Sexton, how many first rounders do we talk about as compensation? One, two, three?

Kevin Love is the definition of a horrible leader, who was only ever under control with LeBron. I have no interest to put that burden on Luka.

No mention of ya'll's boy getting the Magic gig.
