PG making Gobert look like Maxi.

For some reason I am pulling for the Clippers, I may need to go to the ER.
Stats are fun...

Why have you chosen this issue to dig your heels into the ground and fight about?

You will be on the wrong side of history on this one, pal. Years from now you'll be living in Argentina, your blonde hair dyed black, desperately hoping people don't recognize your accent.

BEN SIMMONS!!!!

Eh, Defensive Win Shares sucks as a stat.
Every year he has laid an egg in the playoffs...every single one...different Coaches and no change yet...

I guess we could trade a 3 point chucker for a 3 point ducker...

They are if you know what they mean and how they work.
Ranks higher on defense means captain Clutch picked one random stat. In this case DWS. Lovely.

I could make another long post to explain the way DWS work but instead I will ask you a few simple question. Who did the Hawks play in the first round. What was the offensive rating of the mentioned team in the series and in the regular season.
Quick tip. The entire Hawks rotation ranks in front of Simmons. Most of them also in front of Embiid. Suns and Bucks dominate the ranking I wonder why.
Clippers small ball making it really hard for Gobert right now. Morris cannot miss and Gobert refuses to leave the paint.
Jazz made 17 3s in the first half. Not a single one in the 2nd half. 6:45 left in the 4th quarter.
Wow - for the Jazz to lose on their home floor to the Kawhi-less Clippers would have to be a devastating gut punch.

I can't stand PG and Morris, but hats off to them for their performance so far in this game.

That's definitely one POV on the situation, and quite valid.

I'm not sure they don't STILL have the best offensive player in the series, however. Just saying.

I honestly believe Luka and Carlisle should both be knighted for taking LAC to seven.

Lue is a great coach...better than Doc Rivers. Not sure why he has such a bad reputation. Those Cavs teams that lost to the KD Warriors in those Finals were clearly outmatched. Of course they were gonna be horrible once they lost LeBron and Kyrie, not Lue's fault
I'm sure the league doesn't want to see Atlanta and Utah in the finals.

Trae Young is also -31 over the series. The Hawks starters got literally outscored in every game but one.

Sixers starters dominating (even with Pandemic Ben), but Doc Rivers can't solve the bench and the non Embiid minutes. This might be even worse than the Mavs and the no Luka minutes, because the gap between starters is much bigger.

Simmons is even overrated as a play maker, in the half court. You cant put him in with the bench unit, and everything is fine. He doesn't create enough quality of shots on his own. I have more hope for KP (if he gets back to bubble form), that Brunson or a new play maker + KP can solves those non Luka minutes for us.

I guess Simmons might be more playable, if he plays full time 5 with a PG on a team at all times. Where he isn't the primary ball handler anymore. Playing him as a rim rolling 5. He is a poor mans Giannis, and i also think Giannis has to play the 5 to make it work.
It’s a collision course of little brother teams. Clippers/Nets.

Atlanta could get to the ECF, but I think the train stops there with either Bucks or Nets.  Nate McMillan has done a fantastic job since taking over. I'm sure they'll sign him on as the permanent coach whatever the results.  Pacers were stupid for firing him.
That game was weird last night.   Credit Atlanta.    A lot of parallels between the Bucks and 76ers loss.   Both teams looked to have an easy win in the first halves.   Although both have concerns how they would react when the other teams make runs.    And those open shots are more difficult when there is a lot of pressure on.  Late in the game, both offenses for the Bucks and Sixers became very stagnant and you could feel the pressure mounting.   While on the other side, KD and Trae were putting a ton of pressure on the defense and creating/getting great looks.

Game 6 will be very interesting to both teams.   Sixers have had two really bad finishes and the Bucks one.   Those are the type of losses that really test the mettle of your team.  Do you fight back or does that tough loss define you?

No question.....PG >>>> Donovan .....for all his warts, and collapses, PG is much better than Donovan at basketball at BOTH ends.
I mean Donovan is clearly hurt.

In the end without Conley they're having the same problem as the Mavs. Their max-salary big man can't punish smallball, they don't have enough shot creation, and their defense is stretched too thin.
