I just found it interesting that Gordon's people went out of their way to point out that he'd "be happy to land in Dallas and play with Luka Doncic." I think that's worth something, personally. If true, then it's already starting, and Luka is still just 22. Imagine what it will be like when he's 26..28...30.
Yes, we don't know how interested Dallas is. Nor do we know if they would include one (or both) of our rookies. I don't believe you can trade two-way guys.
But if they were interested and willing to trade the rookies, it comes down to personal preference for Orlando (outside of a '21 first round pick). Unless I am missing something. Although Orlando likes long armed players, so they probably wouldn't want Terry
For WCJ, OPJ and two firsts? Doesn't seem like a lot. Do they buy out OPJ?
No need to delete posts Bama...it is a busy day and any help is appreciated even if it is a double post...
Could certainly see the Mavs going after OPJ if he gets bought out.

Also, I wonder if the McGee trade signals that Denver is out of this one. Not sure.
"Denver remains neck and neck with the Celtics and
Gordon would be happy to end up in Dallas alongside Luka Doncic, but all indications from sources across the league are that this will run to Thursday’s buzzer."
I'm glad Gordon views a potential Luka pairing to be one of his best avenues.
That means Gordon and Fournier are gone as well. Magic are throwing in the towel. Rebuild time.
Chicago is going all in...

I'm still not 100% sold on Aaron Gordon. He would obviously start in Maxi's spot and he's a clear upgrade but I don't think he's worth selling the farm for. There is real downside risk. I wouldn't expect big numbers from him. He'd defend, rebound, bring the ball up, score a little but he's not someone I'd want to throw the ball to and say "go to work" in clutch situations. Maybe that's a good thing since he would fit in seamlessly. But maybe a more dynamic late-game scoring option is exactly what the Mavs need for the playoffs.

Seems premature. Lavine and Vuc are fringe allstars but I guess for a team that just wants to make the playoffs it´s enough.
