Stop the presses, Jazz have lost two straight.
This was weak...

I think a Griffin buyout is my favorite move for the Mavs.  Maybe he is done.  He has certainly not looked good this year, but maybe he is a low coast reclamation project.

Would I like a bigger name?  Sure!  I just don't think James Johnson is going to be attractive to most teams.    Would Dallas want to take on years for a player?   I also don't want to throw in our young rookies and us not having a first round pick makes things more difficult.

So bring in Griffin.  Watch his minutes and maybe he can get healthier.  If he was the Griffin of two years ago, he would be almost perfect for the type of player we are missing.   If he is done, you just miss out on a guy you need to release to sign him.

I like that your expectations for what the Mavs can accomplish (without making moving rotation players) are realistic. But, I think Griffin is done. I HATE Drummond's game viscerally, but if the choices are Griffin or Drummond, give me Drummond.
This chick is badass. About time someone explained the modern game to that dude.

I guess Mavs coaching staff and center line should also watch this video a couple of times. The big needs to switch at the point of the PnR, not wait below the basket.

I would prefer Drummond as well and I am not a huge fan with his fit here in Dallas.  I just assume someone is going to give Detroit an asset for him.  We will see though.

That's how I feel. Odds are Griffin can't produce every night anymore. But if he comes in and plays 15mpg every night? I think he can be very effective in that role.
Pacers-Cavs game is not the most interesting one but McConnell is on pace to break the record for most steals in the game.
3rd quarter just started. So far he has 9 steals in 18 minutes. NBA record is 11.
Menwhile DSJ has a TD against Raptors. So does Plumlee Smile
