Sad stuff for him, but basically the least surprising news all year. And basically all the NBA teams knew this except the ROCKETS who decided to take him in that initial trade. Craziness.

I will be shocked if his NBA career isn't basically over. Sucks for him.

On his way home, the farmer came to the bank of a river and rented a boat. But crossing the river by boat, the farmer could carry only himself and a single one of his purchases: the wolf, the goat, or the cabbage.

If left unattended together, the wolf would eat the goat, or the goat would eat the cabbage.

The farmer's challenge was to carry himself and his purchases to the far bank of the river, leaving each purchase intact. How did he do it?

He observed that riding in the boat wasn't practical after all. So he returned the rented boat, and had them all walk across the bridge.
So one of the worst teams was sold. Let's see if new owners will do anything more drastic. This team is certainly in dead alley imho.

I thought he might have been good for the Mavs to get but now, not so much
How much did The Rockets sell for last time?
If the new owner can make a decent profit wonder if he will see them off?

Sounds like he lost a lot of money during COVID lock downs

Scared of the Lakers.

Confused
With the 23rd pick the Knicks select...

Remember when the Mavs were 14th and the Knicks thought it was going to be a lottery pick?

They lost to Houston, so now what? I'm worried about Minnesota, because they have nothing to lose and have been playing much better since Finch has taken over.  Lose to the T-Pups and it may be Mavs/Clippers.

Confused

Friday, May 14, 2021:

Denver Nuggets 104
Detroit Pistons 91

Houston Rockets 122
Los Angeles Clippers 115

Both the Nuggets and the Clippers are now 47-24, and the Nuggets own the head-to-head tie-breaker versus the Clippers.

If the Nuggets beat the Trail Blazers on Sunday, or if the Thunder beat the Clippers on Sunday, then the Nuggets will be the #3 seed and the Clippers will be the #4 seed.

The Clippers will be the #3 seed and the Nuggets will be the #4 seed IF AND ONLY IF the Clippers beat the Thunder AND the Trail Blazers beat the Nuggets.

I'm wondering if the Mavs will be resting their starters for the game against MIN.....

Bruh, i didn't know the LAC franchise had THIS in em'. AND Houston had it's two best players out... I'm speechless.

I will say this, all 3 teams play at the same time on Sunday lol

I fully expect LAC to lose their last game purposefully so they face either POR or DAL. It is the only way to guarantee they avoid LAL.

Luka at minimum needs to sit the game out.

I don't see them purposely losing to the Thunder, unless they rest everybody in their main rotation. They already lost to a Rockets team they should have beat without PG and Leonard. Plus they got Ibaka back tonight. It's BS if they are trying to avoid any team.
Portland will win because they have to avoid the play in.
Clippers will win because OKC has to lose.
Denver will lose to stay away from possibly playing the Lakers

The Mavs are the wildcard here imo.  I assume they will go for the win but RC may have different ideas.

Upon reflection, I feel pretty good about it ending up Mavs vs Denver.
