Dal: Bledsoe, Gordon
Orl: Richardson, Green, NO pick
NO: Johnson

I love that trade. A different twist that perhaps keeps Richardson in Dallas.

Mavs take on Bledsoe+Hernangomez and a 1st. In return gives NOP Powell+protected 1st that converts to 2 2nds

Immediately use that to give to ORL that looks like Johnson+Green+Burke+Terry+NOP 1st+2 2nds for Gordon.

Mavs: Bledsoe, Gordon, Hernangomez (gives in total 3 picks)
NOP: Powell+ Protected 1st plus 6 mil in savings.
ORL: Johnson+Green+Burke+Terry+ 3 picks.

Luka/Brunson/Bledsoe
Jrich/THJ
Gordon/DFS
Maxi/Hernangomez
KP/WCS/Boban

Thats a squad.

We can't speculate with any certainty what MIL would've done. I could easily say MIL told IND pay us 3 picks or else we match and trade Brogdon later this season somewhere else.

We don't know. It doesn't matter anyway. No use crying over 3 year old milk spilt on the floor.

Bledsoe as a future expiring makes more sense, I think.

Hold the laughter until you see the compensation and then remember that we received the corpse of Z-Bo and Josh "he has a nice floater" Jackson.

The laughter is him being called a stopper..

And the sadness is what we received when we traded him.  Now that we've both stated the obvious...

I think maybe the Nuggets have never actually seen Barnes play.

A league source confirmed to MassLive.com that the Celtics are offering a first-round pick and a young player to Orlando for the big man, one of Aaron Nesmith or Romeo Langford as a centerpiece of a package for the 25-year-old power forward. Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald also reported that Smart was not expected to be part of a trade offer for Gordon.
RE: John Collins talks supposedly being dead

With 24 hours to go this seems weird timing...wonder if ATL is playing hard ball and negotiating through Woj in a sense. Not saying its likely, but ATL stopping their listening now doesn't make sense.
The Celtics and the Clippers rank as the two most desperate teams at the deadline, given the playoff expectations they carried into the season and both clubs’ recent struggles. No less an authority than Danny Ainge, Boston’s president of basketball operations, said in a February radio interview that “we don’t have a good enough team,” essentially putting public pressure on himself to do something about it.

Boston has duly pursued a variety of big men whose teams are resistant to deals: Sacramento’s Harrison Barnes, Atlanta’s John Collins and Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic. The Celtics now appear focused on Gordon, or perhaps more affordable options like Sacramento’s Nemanja Bjelica or Toronto’s Norman Powell.
