And this is why we should have drafted him.

The Skip Bayless meltdown on twitter is great.
Back to back Cowherd  and Bayless posts. What are the odds that the worst two sports show hosts ever get mentioned back to back in a thread not about the worst sports show hosts?

Happy for Giannis.

Sad for the great Chris Paul.

Super happy all the annoying "Ayton is better than Luka" Suns fans have been laughed out of the room.

Super angry that any man, woman or child living in Milwaukee by choice has experienced true sports happiness.

All in all, it's sort of a wash for me.
Chris Paul must have bad juju. Dude is one of the all time greats and can't catch a break.
The trophy is back in the East where it belongs. Tired of hearing about these so-called West powerhouses and super teams. The Bucks got it done with one superstar. They just put the league and big market teams on notice.
I am really happy for Milwaukee. They did what was necessary and it paid off. JRue was worth every dollar and pick.

Last year it was done with 2 superstars. I think these last 2 years are the best recipe to shoot for. One superstar and a mess of good to great players or 2 superstars and some well fitting parts (helps if those 2 superstars are both within top 10 in the league). We need to upgrade our roster to 1 superstar and a mess of good to great players and go from there.

Middleton and JRich might not be superstars, but they are top50 players in the league, if not better. Easy.

One of the single most underrated players in the whole league. No way Giannis wins without Middleton's support. No way.
CANNOT agree with the sentiments above more!

Don't imitate other teams, look at yourself and play to YOUR unique strengths as a team!
Let´s not act like the Bucks only had one guy. Middleton was an allstar in the last two seasons. Averaged 24/8/5 in the playoffs. Holiday has been in the borderline allstar category for most of his career and made three all defense teams in the last four years. Averaged 17/6/9 in the playoffs. Brook Lopez used to be a legit first or second option. He is the alltime scoring leader for the Nets. It´s not like he lost any of his skills. He adjusted his game to help the team but when he was needed after the Giannis injury he carried the Bucks in game 5 against the Hawks. Not to mention that he is also one of the best rim protectors in the league. All defense 2nd team last season.
Add great role players like Tucker and DiVincenzo and that´s as good as it gets for a starting five in terms of overall talent. And I haven´t even mentioned bench guys like Connaughton or Portis that also played really good. Imagine if they don´t screw up and also add Bogdanovic.

What part of good to great was was not understood?

When I read your post I thought of role players. Not allstars.Pretty much a given that the Mavs would be great if they add 2-3 allstar level players. Give Luka the Bucks supporting cast and the result would probably be the same.

Which also means don't fit the team into your coaches myopic view of how to coach the team. Get a coach that will adapt to the players you can get!

Good to great! Imagine someone saying this earlier.
