Pretty sure they want to bring JRich and THJ back, which means that we're going to sit on our expiring contract, singular (JJ).
This is disappointing so far for us Mavs fans. Surely we can acquire a decent player. Lots of teams are getting better while we do nothing.

Exactly. I am not impressed by the move at all. And they will have problem paying him. Trent is at least restricted.

Isn't Powell a FA after the year as well? I think Trent was a RFA. If Powell is viewed as high as some think he is, they aren't going to be able to keep him. I am sure he wants to be a starter. Interesting move. I liked Trent when he played against us.

It´s unreal how dumb this FO acts, when it comes to asset management. Well that´s unfair to say dumb, cause that would imply they acknowledge that it actually exists.
