Considering he left almost 35 on the table, that seems light. Especially for the privilege of playing for Knicks. I think Celtics gladly resign him at this going rate

I am fairly confident he is never a Celtic again. Pretty sure that relationship is so broken that he DID renounce the $34M.
Yeah, this Hayward thing smells like "Marcus Smart and I really, really hate each other. I'm out of here no matter what."

Incidentally, I think this is kind of win if for Kyrie Irving. Maybe he wasn't completely crazy about that locker room?

Between all that and if you put in stock into the shopping Kemba rumors, I'd think long and hard if I was a marquee free agent and being recruited by Ainge.

Something is off about the Celtics tbh.
You see their top 3 veterans leaving in 2 years while , in some cases, leaving what it seems like a goid money on table?
And if I am a player, I won't like to stay with Ainge either, he takes "it is business " to a new level tbh
Of course they have interest. Hopefully just wishful thinking on their part.

As long as the Mavs get Wood, I honestly don't care what anyone else does.

But I DO HATE the Lakers and their cheat codes.

Yep.

Say what you want about their future, but when Irving, Horford, and Hayward all intentionally bail in rapid succession that's not a good sign for how players view your franchise.

You'd think Brad Stevens isn't the problem. Hayward went to Boston in large part because of him. We also had that story about Brad pointing out to his young players how Dirk interacted with his teammates.

Jalen Brown seems like a good dude too. Maybe Tatum is a little shit? :p

Everyone here thinks Sacramento would let him go for a combination of Wright and Jackson, so why not Lakers than. For example for KCP and Kuzma. KCP gets a nice payday and Lakers get a better player

That's kind of an interesting combination of players because if you did want to move Hield, you'd have smaller assets to backfill and that could be used in future trades.

It's not Tatum, it's Marcus Smart. He's the one who couldn't get along with Kyrie, and HIS starting spot is the one threatened by a healthy Hayward. He's the one with the Draymond Green personality that drives people crazy when he's overly difficult. He's the one who constantly dribbles the ball into the defense at the end of games instead of giving it to the players who are good on OFFENSE.

I know he's a beast, but I'm telling you..there's a screw loose with that guy, I think.

Makes a lot of sense. The screw loose is probably why he's such a dogged defender.

I think it is the opposite. Smart is the one with the Jimmy Butler personality that wants to win at all costs and expects the same from his teammates. Smart is the heart and soul of the team. The true leader. Curry or Klay never had a problem with Draymond as the locker room leader. Durant had. Same in Boston. Brown or Tatum are happy with his veteran leadership. New "stars" probably aren´t.
Interesting. Looks like there was a little more to the draft night deal.

I really like that move for Memphis. Kanter in Portland will give the 2nd unit some much needed offensive punch.

I thought 2 second rounders were a bit light for #30 pick. Portland secures back up center
I’m going to post this here. Maybe someone can help.

For everyone who watches Mavs via cable and their cable provider has squashed the deal with FSSW, how are you going to watch Mavs this year?

I like the quality of the TV broadcast and not streams, and I’d prefer cable to sat dish, any recommendations?
