I always imagine that it goes like this:

Donnie: We could draft ...(insert name) he is a can´t miss prospect.
Mark: But capspace...

Donnie: We have a great trade opportunity. Player x would only cost us two 2nds.
Mark: But capspace...

Donnie: We failed to sign a max free agent but there are still some really good options available. Could even do a sign/trade.
Mark: But next years capspace...

Didn’t we trade for KP a few deadlines ago? Its almost like some fans want us to have assets(requiring patience and standing pat) while at the same time being aggressive which requires picks and players. Can’t have both. We aren’t at the point in Luka’s career where we go all in every season. Only desperate teams like the Clippers and Blazers are doing that and they have no rings to show for it

Lol at everyone freaking out for not making major moves that we knew weren't coming. 

I'm surprised we didn't move Johnson for just about anyone on an expiring deal but that probably just says nobody wanted a swap.
