His on/off impact is skewed because his backup is literally the worst defensive big in the league. He fouled out two games in the series because he's playing with concrete shoes when he gets isolated on the perimeter.    The Blazers offense in the front court was so horrendous all year long that they traded for Powell and made him an undersized forward.

The dude is definitely foul prone, one of his greatest weaknesses....

....BUT the Blazers were 17.3 pts better DEFENSIVELY when he played and 14.5 pts better OFFENSIVELY when he played in this playoff series. 

Basically when Nurkic played POR kicked DEN's butt...when Nurkic sat DEN DEMOLISHED POR.

It's not skewed because POR kicked DEN's butt everytime he was on the court. That's the whole point. His backup may be bad, but POR was BETTER than DEN when Nurkic played. Period, end of story.

The Lakers dumpster fire is overshadowing that CP3 still doesn't look right at all either, and probably won't be for the rest of the playoffs.   In fact, he's looking a little worse as the series goes along.  The West is ripe for a dark horse Champion this year.

THT has barely played all playoffs, even while the Lakers were searching for anything. Caruso has been MIA too.

Gasol looks to be on his last legs.

Yeah, for me the jury is still out on THT, but I for sure don't want Caruso. Gasol has always been vastly underrated, imo, but I agree he's done.

I mean THT is a fine prospect. Good for a 4-5 mil contract imo. Just based on all the games I've seen. Some desperate team like SAC is going to throw a max at him though. 

Caruso I like but I'd take a lot of other guards before him

Gasol I don't mind for the vet min but he doesn't really fit here anyways and like you said he's on his last legs.
