Same. All damn day.
We can strategize all we want. We´ll have to find a player that is at least as good as Porzingis overall with the skill focus on scorer/playmaker, otherwise we are not competing for a championship (regularly). I´d say our top 7 is very good, and it shouldn´t be too hard to find another bottom end rotational player for a nine-man core. It´s that 2nd best player that will be a b*tch to find, and if the MBT had done his job properly the last decade, we could easily have the assets to simply acquire Beal.

It's not so much that we don't have a 1st rounder to send, it's that if you're going to send a 1st rounder out so far down the road, it had better be for a superstar.

Wow...Dallas could have competed with that....If they were willing to give up Green and/or Orlando valued Green as a developmental piece.

Protected 2025 FRP??? Now that is something Mavs could certainly match, if they wanted to...

You're not wrong. The level of your top 2 is everything, imo. That's why I was so deadset on being in position for Giannis if he had come free.

I still believe they will find someone by the deadline this summer.

Just by quick review, I don't think the Magic got as much value for all three as they should have.  Although they will stink so there is that.
Remember when everyone was saying Boston was trading Smart and two firsts for Gordon?

Never believe any rumor involving Boston.
So, if Lowry goes to Miami, who is left for Oladipo? New York?

I think Morey and Ujiri are in a media leak war right now trying to bluff one another.    I would love to listen in on their conversations.
Mavs could have matched the Nuggets offer. Two options. They don´t like Gordon or are really high on their own guys. Cannot imagine that the Magic prefer Harris bad contract offer an expiring Johnson.

Yeah, I'm pretty unimpressed for this haul considering they traded off an All Star and a legit starting player on a Playoff Team in what was supposed to be a sellers market.   They likely got a handful of mid-late 1st round picks, which might be the most overrated asset in all of professional sports.

I would be so pissed at Ainge (at this point) if I was a Boston fan. He's too conservative. I wish Donnie had a little more Presti/Ainge in his DNA, don't get me wrong, but at least he's not scared to pull the trigger when he believes in something. Ainge holds onto those picks and role players like my Grandmother held onto nickels.

The Mavs might be thinking they need JJ if they meet the Clipps in the playoffs again. Don't need Marcus Morris ending our franchise guy's career.
