Still an open race. But given the choice. What is the easier matchup for Dallas? Jazz or Nuggets?
My best case scenario would be a first round series against the Jazz and avoiding the Suns in a potenial second round series. Nuggets would need to catch the Jazz. Mavs would need to catch the Warriors.

...would be the ideal scenario, agreed.
With how hobbled GSW is, the possibility of them falling to 6th and the Mavs getting to 3rd is still on the table. Mavs would then host GSW in a first round series.

This would be even better than 3/6 vs Utah. We match up well with GSW

Lakers without Lebron tomorrow. The cherry on top will be knocking LA out of the play in

For the record, I wish LeBron would just go ahead and kick this guy's a$$. He's been talking sh_t over a year now.

Are you suggesting he go ahead and give him a “Big Willy slap”?

Also, as a close UFC follower, I’d just like to add that the dude is a legit top pound for pound fighter, and it would definitely be in Lebron’s best interest to not engage him in fisticuffs…

Remarkable, what with everything LALs gave up to bring AD in just a few years ago. I guess DAL isn't the only team to give up on an oft-injured big man.

LBJ has one more season on his current contract, ~$45M at age 38. What do the LALs do beyond that? Extend? Trade?

Remarkably, he's still putting up All Star stats and playing All Star minutes, but is this the core you want to build around? Not that LALs have much room to build with unless they find a willing trade partner.
I hope that makes the Knicks go after AD and forget about JB.

LAC about to come back from a HUGE deficit and win against UTA.
Thank you Clips (for a change...)

Who gives a F ?  LeBron is 6'9 270 lbs. I'll take my chances with him. That guy needs his pie-hole adjusted.
I wonder what picture the Lakers media team will use for their final season record.

Boston is still really good but that is a huge loss.

Agreed. Timelord being out significantly alters their ceiling. He was a big part why their defense was so good. But as long as the Celtics have Marcus Smart on the court I think their defense will always be above average.

On paper the Nuggets appear to be an easy matchup, but I'm petrified of Aaron Gordon guarding Luka. He and Ben Simmons are the only two guys that have had consistent success in slowing him down.

For that alone I'd rather play the Jazz.
