PatBev giving CP3 the business on ESPN "Get Up" lol.
How much money is Grant Williams making?  He has still another year, but man.   A guy who is thick like a linebacker, can really play good defense and hits open threes.   I would love to have a player like him in Dallas.   Pick # 22 a few years ago.

On the one hand, he's kind of right.  On the other hand, he's still a clown.

Milwaukee rather give up 3's to pack the paint. It backfired. Williams shoots 50% on corner 3's and 41% overall. That probably won't happen with Miami who's one of the better defensive teams. I think it's safe to say, he's not going anywhere out of Boston ATM.
On every corner of the internet today, Luka is having praise heaped upon him. It's Mavs fan Christmas out there, friends. This is just one example.

How does that come out AFTER the series?? Why would the Suns or Paul hide that info...

This sounds like to me CP3 going damage control and being as you said an excuse-filled whiny baby!

All I got to say to CP3:

It’s going to be even funnier when the league takes the excuse at face value and fines Phoenix for not disclosing the injury on the required injury reports. Do they pay the fine to protect Paul or throw him under the bus?
Boston and Miami's defense is elite. Boston built a nice lead in the 1st on the strength of their defense. Then Miami stormed back and have a 18 pt lead in the 4th on the strength of theirs. This will be a fun tough series.

PTSD watching a foul merchant shoot eleventy billion FTs for the cHeat.

The FT numbers are wild, but really watching the Heat for the first time in a while I was quickly reminded that Jimmy Butler is a bad man.  Crazy efficient 41 points and just a straight up bully.  4 steals and 3 blocks on the defensive end too.

A lot of talk about the young stars Luka and Tatum and the return of the Splash Bros.  I feel like Jimmy gets lost in the shuffle a bit (and honestly so do the Heat as a whole) but that dude is a beast.

That series should be a knock down drag out fight, especially if Smart, Horford and Lowry all get back.
I am really curious what OKC does this offseason.  With the #2 pick plus Shai and Giddey that is a nice young nucleus.   Do they let them grow or do they go after an all star caliber player with some of their future picks.    The last two years the team has been very competitive early with low talent and then slogs its way through the second half of the season.   Do they say enough and really try to be a young playoff team next year by looking at another all star caliber player to add to their nucleus?

I think some thing OKC may still be in the market to take on a bad salary for draft capital for at least another year.    Maybe they go the other way this year and add talent with future draft picks.
I am not sure Miami has enough to beat Boston, but we will see.  But it is amazing they have undrafted guys like Max Strus and Gabe Vicent playing big minutes for them.   Miami's player development is second to none.

I have heard Duncan Robinson has been out of the rotation.  Is this just because he has been passed by others or are there any injury issues?   Just weird that their big FA signing may now be out of the rotation.

So if Boston wins, does that means either Dallas or GS will have homecourt in the finals?

Basically Robinson lacks the ability to stay in front of anyone consistently, and Max Strus has become just as good of a knockdown shooter while being able to defend.

LOTS of Miami fans wants the team to move on from Robinson in the summer but fear he'll cost an arm and a leg to move off of.

It's funny the narratives that are built around different teams, especially at the national level. The Heat are starting two undrafted guys and a 37 year old second rounder. Their bench is a second rounder, a journeyman center, and an injury reclamation. Then they have Butler, Adebayo and Herro. They're very good, so it must be their player development.

Yet the narrative (especially Cato) around Dallas is they have Luka and not enough talent around him.

I agree. Jimmy Butler gets overlooked.  Him, Luka and possibly Tatum are playing the best of any left in the playoffs.

If the Heat win, they would have homecourt. They finished 53-29. If Boston wins, Dallas has homecourt because they finished 52-30, Boston was 51-31.  GS finished 53-29 also. If the Heat make it along with GS, the next tiebreaker would be division winner (Miami) or best conference record. Not really sure.
