Lack of experience might catch up to them but if I were a gambler, they are where I'd put my money right now.

Mavs tax player MLE?
With the amount of times he’s been traded and reports NEVER showing Mavs interest in him, I’m resigned to thinking the RoCo/DFS duo that I would love to see will never happen.

Utah and Denver are TIED in the LOSS column, and  Utah swept Denver (4-0) in the regular season, SO ...

If Utah loses the same number of remaining regular season games as Denver (or fewer), then Utah will finish ahead of Denver in the final regular season standings (and playoff seeding).

That dismantling came at the expense of the Bucks resting Giannis, Middleton, and Holiday. It was really an aberration.  Good for RoCo though.

I agree. But sometimes young teams don't realize how inexperienced they are and take advantage of their youth and athletic ability.  Not saying this is the case here, but Memphis is locked in as a team.

They also play a physical/playoff style of ball.

Very true, and a good reminder.
Moses Brown dunking all over Mitchell Robinson and dominating the boards. Mavs just don´t have the patience when it comes to bigmen development.

You know they didn't have the roster spot to keep him so I'm curious why you're chastising the front office? Brown's contract was the only one that gave them an out with his non-guarantee. At the end of the day you're asking to choose between Brown vs. Chriss and honestly there isn't much of a difference if anything leaning slightly toward Chriss in terms of talent.

Also, the 3 games he played well they went 1-2 with the lone win coming against the Knicks who sat everyone. What does that say about Brown's development? Remember he put up big stats on a tanking OKC team last year. And his stats didn't appear to have much of an impact on winning. Does this recent stretch tell us that Brown has suddenly become a valuable role player? I don't think so.

Mitchell Robinson bullied Powell and Kleber. Wasn´t doing any of that against Brown. The recent stretch tells us that Brown has potential. More potential than some guys on the current Mavs roster. I am not blaming the Mavs. He doesn´t fit into the current scheme. Just pointing out that they haven´t developed a young big in a long time. Last one was Powell who just like Brown landed in Dallas as a trade throw in.
Compared to others teams they have different priorities and less patience when it comes to raw bigmen. Prefer to use roster spots on vets or guard/wing prospects. Not saying that this is good/bad but looking through the draft thread many (myself included) are discussing players wit similar profiles. Personally I would like to add another young big. Just don´t think that the Mavs are interested.
KD had a career high 55 pts on 19-28 from the field and 8-10 from 3 in a 122-115 loss to the Hawks. Kyrie added 31 on 12-32 fgs and 7-14 from 3. They were the only players in double figures for the Nets. Tough loss on the road for Brooklyn.
Jazz beating the Warriors. Mavs would overtake the Warriors again. Same record. Winning the season series. Jazz would be one game behind.

Yeah, Warriors are done. Wondering when they win another game. It’s been awhile.

Watching the game, GSW is now only down 4 with 5.5 mins left. GSW doesn't care about the 1-3rd quarters apparently.
Klay looks to be back going for 33pts on 50% 3 shooting (14 attempts). That's not good for any team playing them in the playoffs if Curry joins them then.

Jazz losing a 20 point lead. My prefered first round matchup. They have Gobert but cannot defend the 3-point line.

I totally jinxed it.

Oof, a Poole 3 for the lead now. GS up 105 to 103.
19 secs left, 106 to 107 with 91% ft shooter shooting fts.
