All thing I can think of is playing time.

I mean, I wouldn't go there either, but that might be due to bias.

I think it might be hard to find a bigger need for him. He'd definitely have a meaty role there. Westbrook is currently riding the bench during 4th quarters.
Houston waived Freedom.  I'm sure he was expecting it but it is funny that he ended up in Houston and considering it was Morey who pissed CCP off last time.  I'm not sure he'll get another chance as he's far too inconvenient for the NBA.  Despite his defensive shortcomings, dude could get buckets and rebound.  I hope this isn't the last we've seen of him and I hope he inspires other NBA players to use their voices for the voiceless.
I'm not entirely sure we simply rule out acquiring Dragic just because of something Nico said. The Mavs have never actually said emphatically that they will NOT be pursuing Dragic at all have they? Is there a first-person quote from the front-office other than what Nico said?

I don't think it will happen necessarily, but Nico's quote is rather vague and it may be some kind of messaging rather than a clear statement of interest.

The problem I see that you have Spencer for the creation role you'd want from Dragic.  You'd also need to cut someone and from a contract perspective, Frank would be the guy as everyone else would lead to dead money next year.  I'd say Frank has been useful.  Further, should you have another big man get injured, you'd really need to add someone and figure out a way to make room for them.

Agreed. It's not worthwhile for Dragic to choose Dallas, now that Dinwiddie, Luka and Brunson are all here. He's not looking for a situation where he has to compete for a role. And, even if he still wanted to come, it's not worthwhile for Dallas to cut a guy like Ntilikina to bring him here now that Dinwiddie is here. "Just to make sure we never have to play Burke in the playoffs due to injury" doesn't seem like a good reason to give up on Ntilikina to me.

NBA reinstated Tyreke Evans.  Marc Stein says he has been working out in Miami with John Wall and Michael Beasely.  Found this video and it looks like JJ Barea is was out there.

Love Tyreke.  Wishing him well.

Randle is having a career year. Randle is having a better year than KP. No Randle is not the better player.

Let's see how the Knicks do next year in a regular season.

You can ignore the KP angle but I do want to gloat that I called the Knicks being a flash in the pan.

The Thibs effect.  He's a meat grinder.
DeRozan might be having the hottest hot streak anyone has ever had since 1970. This is incredible.

Not that he wanted to come here but remember all of the debate about if he'd fit in this roster?
