Warriors somehow find a way...

Also while I hate single game +/- stats something to keep note of:

Bogdanovic -24
O'Neal -23
Mitchell -22

Gobert +3

Conley +13
Ya, at least it puts a bigger cushion on keeping HCA in the 1st round. A loss tomorrow isn't as nail biting now.
Good, I was rooting for the Warriors. Focus on getting a cushion between Utah for now and then hope the Warriors can lose some next week if we can win

Ya, we can tie GS, we can't tie Utah.

Interesting considering GSW used Gobert's drop coverage in the pick game to get open 3's to get back in the game.

Spoke too soon, GS comes from behind for the win,  111-107. GS has a 1 game lead for the third seed.
The Wiz won their championship against the Mavs on Friday...they wanted that game badly and couldn't miss anything. They returned to earth today and got a taste of their own medicine. The Celtics torched them for 23 threes and 39 assists  Big Grin

If they get Williams back, the C"s could be scary in the playoffs.

Felt inevitable even BEFORE they brought in new management. Have to think Gobert is traded this summer. Hard for me to imagine that not happening.

The times I've watched UTA I've always felt they routinely missed Gobert wide open down low. I figured they never passed to him because he just isn't good enough to convert (as in he fumbles the ball more often than not). I'm starting to think Utah's guards, namely Mitchell just aren't good enough to read those passes.

Rumors also that Quinn Snyder may be out as well.

It will be questionable decision though.
While Mitchell is younger and it is a leagues that loves guards, he seems to be the kind of guy who will ask out before contract year.
Gobert might have faults but I think he's ten times more likely to stay than Mitchell. I bet he asks to get traded after the playoffs.

I freaking love Quinn Snyder.

There's that, and there's also the fact that I think that Mitchell, while an excellent player, is probably not a #1 on a title team. (I say probably not, in the sense that he might be able to play that role on a 2004 Pistons-type squad, but those are exceptionally rare). But I don't think Gobert is a max player either, so it's a pretty rough spot to be in. Depending on what Mitchell wants for his future, Utah might be better off blowing the entire thing up, although I doubt they will do that yet.
