Weird league...The Hawks who have had a pretty tough start lost tonight to go under .500 for the year.

And that team that looked like the best team in the league against Dallas the other night scores 33 in the first half while getting blown out at home against Boston.

I guess team meeting in Boston helped Smile Miami shot over 50 % from three against Dallas and 22 % against Boston.
And the Lakers lost to OKC again.

Look at this beauty by Westbrook late in the game

Trae and Reddish are way too inconsistent players and also one dimensional. To large extent also Collins and Bogdanovic and Gallinari. I think that makes it a very inconsistent team, one dimensional and inconsistent. The ceiling is very high for them, but the bottom is also low and happens too often.

They have also some very consistent pieces, such as Capela and Hunter. Hunter is very consistent player with good overall game on both ends, I would love if Hunter became a Maverick someday.

They will get it going. Overall the talent level of the depth is higher than supporting cast of Mavs, no question about that. But they are inconsistent, and one dimensional, and I think that will always keep them away from contending for real.

Yeah crazy.  Who would have thought the Thunder's 2 wins would come at the expense of the Lakers.  Thunder came from 16 down to beat them last night.  Bron didn't play but it's no excuse for losing to them at home no less.  Miami didn't come to play, they shot poorly and turned the ball over repeatedly, and Boston took advantage.

I posted after the ATL game that they were super prepared for DAL because of the Trae-Luka thing, plus the home opener, and they would come back to reality once they hit the daily grind.

DAL being marginally capable of hitting a barn door with a shotgun so far hasn't helped.

Westbrook's looking like the same old Russ. Hell of an athlete, but low BBIQ sometimes. AD, while always having a great stat line, hasn't won anything without LBJ.

Miami was stinking, but Lowery's injury looks like it took the energy right out of them. Not the only time someone hurts a teammate while flailing trying to get a call.
Have y'all seen the recent footage of Zion? The Pels young superstar likes food more than our young superstar.

I heard he's way over 300 lbs.  Recipe for more injuries.

The Pel's young superstar could probably eat our young superstar in one sitting.

I want to see the Pels sign Raymond Felton to run the point for Zion

Felton worked the opposite way. Always thought that his lightweight self played worse.
Also, my sauces say that Zion and Luka have both hired Joey Chestnut as their nutrition consultant.
